Looking for a project car? 1995, It was the last year they made this E320 Cabriolet (and coupe). I bought this out of state two years ago with the goal to use it as a toy and tool around here around the beach and restore it slowly over the years. It is or was running car (battery is dead). The convertible was working, now hydraulic fluid seem to drip from the trunk lid, my fault I am sure. It needs shocks, suspension work and just some really good love. It had a leak from the transmission since I parked it over a year ago. I have not taken it in to check, I let the registration expire. Clean title. My current girlfriend/fiancee is tired of visiting me and having to park on the street here and asked me to sell it. I promised her I would try and do just that. If you need a parts car, or have the time and energy or own one..you can make this jewel shine...let's try and make a deal. It is being sold in as is running condition with a clean title. The tires decent, although older and may need replacing. Leather interior has no major rips or tears (although missing a part here and there). headliner is loose from top and age. Pick up only.... Up for your consideration is my beautiful, highway miles, Mercedes. Bought new by a doctor then bought by me last year. The nicest riding and driving car I have ever driven. Original paint and new tires. It's a very reliable car, it's given me no problems at all. The body and paint are in perfect condition. Mechanically it runs perfect and the trans. shifts perfect. This vehicle is in perfect mechanical condition, Just added new tires 300 miles ago, Replaced frt.brake disc and pads, replaced rear brake pads all done less than 100 miles ago. replaced EGR valve 25 miles ago for a engine lite code . Oil and filter replaced less than 60 miles ago, I am the second owner, purchased at SO. BAY MERCEDES Benz. Ca.as a used car in 2004 with approx. 43200 miles. I worked there as a shop foreman for 15 years at which time all repairs were supervised by me. Now retired, I have maintained all repairs on this vehicle . There are a few areas that need to repainted due to the clear coat checking. (see photos). Never been smoked in, I have a Car Fax report dated 7/15/2015 if needed. It has been sitting in my driveway mostly and a couple of trips around the block to keep up the battery. I haven't checked into the cost of shipping yet but would prefer a local pick up. This low mileage car is a perfect example of how well this style has stood the test of time. The car runs perfectly, handles solidly, and everything works as it should. I purchased it from the second owner in 2006 with 10,000 miles on the odometer. All services were done by Mercedes dealers and qualified shops. During my ownership all service has been at our local Mercedes Dealer. I have all the records including build sheet and window sticker. When this car was made the designers said to the engineers, “Build it as if you were building it for yourselves, and let the price come later.” That is why this car had a window sticker showing a total price with options of $81,745.00 in 1995. Michelin Primacy tires show 8/32nds tread. Includes original, never mounted, rear wind deflector. I get 27MPG on the highway. No accidents at all. It is rare to see this style anymore. Only 3676 of these convertibles were imported to the US for the 1995 model year. This one has the optional ASC traction control. This cabriolet is of the last to roll off the assembly line built in November of 1995. It still drives as smooth and solid as it did when new. The car is located 100 miles north of Santa Barbara, CA. Car is in very good condition. Not excellent as this was sometimes a daily driver. Car was kept for long trips only. It hasn't been used much in the past few years so we decided to sell. We are the second owners purchased car in 2008 with 24,000 miles. So as you can see we drove less then 12000 per year. Car is fully functional and complete with original documents and owners manuals. There are some light minor scratches near the rear bumper from luggage which appear to be able to be buffed out. This car has gotten over 38 mpg on long trips. Is capable of 140 mph. Read the test data on this vehicle. It is truly incredible. Driven flat out continuously for 100 k miles top speed was 143 average speed was 125. 3 cars were used in the test. After the test, the drivers took them home and drove to work the next morning. Oil changes were with 5-40 mobil 1 .
