The paint is the same color, vinyl roof is the same color, Gold moonroof and Gold trunk carpeting like the DJubilee had. The special tool kit is missing, we are looking for a replacement... TWO OWNER LOW MILE SURVIVOR FANTASTIC COLOR COMBINATION RUST & ACCIDENT FREE - LOW MILE CAR 1970 LINCOLN MARK III LUXURY EDITION COUPE 76K original miles - looks like 10K !!! Purchased by Indiana Owner #2 about 20 years ago and committed to long term climate controlled storage. Originally sold to Don Hazel, his name is on the dash plaque. We are working to find out where Don lived. Just purchased and refreshed by my shop, ready for its next owner. This is an outstanding example of the first year Mark III, introduced to revive the personal luxury car for Lincoln last seen in the 1956/57 Continental Mark II. This car is a true survivor with mostly original paint, original interior and near perfect chrome. We specialize in low mile luxury cars. This car looks like it has 10K original miles, cosmetics are that nice. Out of twenty years of climate controlled storage and it shows the extent of care. This car can be shown in survivor class shows. The detailing in the engine compartment is up to the new owner, clean and leave original or let us restore it to original look. This car has mostly original factory Deep Blue Poly paint. Looks to us only the trunk lid and front fascia have been repainted. Excellent original Black Vinyl top. Mint condition original factory Red leather interior in excellent condition. All the factory real wood trim is excellent. Mint original dash, door panels, carpet and door panels. The interior is really a time capsule and well preserved. Most of these cars originally came with a single painted pinstripe. The one does not have that option. We will add a crimson painted pinstripe if desired. Now it will look great in your garage. The car is equipped with the factory 460 cubic inch engine, 4BBL carb and automatic transmission. This is one of the nicest kept and most factory correct 1970 Continental Mark III's you will find. It is in concours condition throughout. It has earned a Senior Grand National trophy awarded by the AACA and a William Clay Ford trophy awarded by the Lincoln and Continental Owners Club. This Mark III would make an excellent addition to any collection of low mileage factory correct automobiles. The interior of this Mark III is all original and in pristine condition. The vinyl top is original and in showroom condition. The trunk lining is original and in perfect condition. The engine compartment has been detailed to factory specifications using all correct clamps, hoses, belts, decals. The body is mostly in impeccable original condition, with the hood having been repainted to show condition. Various chrome pieces have been upgraded to NOS or carefully rechromed to new condition. The undercarriage has been detailed to pristine condition. This Mark III sits on four NOS Michelin X radial tires as were provided by the factory. All systems, accessories and power options work as they did when this Mark III was driven off the showroom floor at Dick Price Motors in Wichita, KS in December of 1969. According to the Marti Report on this Mark III (original goes with this car), only 115 of this model in 1970 were made with these paint and trim codes (M, 1A). This Mark is in great shape. From Texas. no rust seen anywhere. the paint is good, the interior is nice, the owner we received it from, wanted to drive it anywhere, and spent several thousand, up grading the car. New tires, new brakes, front end gone thru, new shocks, new struts, ect. The car rides and drives better then it looks, and it looks very nice. NADA Value is over 10k. we bought it right, and are going to sell it right, this car has near the amount of new parts and upgrades that we are asking for the whole car. The only thing it may need is a shot of Freon, as right now the air does not blow cold, but did, this summer. really a nice car. anything else just ask.
