Here is a rare LS460 Sport version with only 32,000 miles. The car is fully equipped, dealer serviced, and has a clean car fax and Ohio title. I searched for more than a year to find this car in black with these options and low miles. I am sad to part with this world class vehicle but have too many cars in the drive. The car has all of the great standard features you expect in an LS plus the following optional packages: SPORT PACKAGE: 2010 was the first year for the Sport package and was only available on short-wheelbase, rear-wheel-drive models at a cost of $6,200. The Sport package begins with the 4.6 liter, 380 horsepower engine. The Sport also added functional upgrades such as quicker-shifting version of the standard eight-speed automatic gearbox—which includes full manual control via paddle shifters or the console shifter. Large 14.8” Brembo brakes with high friction pads installed all around. The suspension is a computer controlled air system with settings for sport and comfort. The electric power-steering system was upgraded on the Sport edition for better turn-in response, and the adjustable, sport-tuned air suspension has firmer anti-roll bars and specific tuning for the dampers. Exclusive to the Sport edition are split 10-spoke, 19-inch aluminum wheels, including the spare, with summer performance Continental tires. Lower-body extensions and a darkened honeycomb grille differentiate the exterior from a standard LS. This was the first Lexus ever to offer a matte finish on the wood trim, a beautiful brown ash burl wood. There was only one interior color scheme in this car, and the matte wood goes with Black/Saddle Tan perforated leather with contrast stitching. Also unique are the sport seats in front. Many people purchased the Sport edition just for the special interior. COMFORT PACKAGE: priced at $2,035 it included leather trimmed heated steering wheel, climate-comfort front seats with heat/cool knob control, heated rear seats, Intuitive Parking Assist, power rear sunshade, recessed headlamp washers, power door closers and one-touch power trunk open/close switch. LUXURY VALUE PACKAGE: Navigation System, Mark Levinson Surround Sound Audio System featuring 19 speakers with in-dash, single-feed, six-disc DVD/CD auto-changer and satellite radio. NADA price guide suggests that the "clean retail" price for this car is $32,975. "Clean trade in" is $30,475. An average trade is worth $28,250. This 2002 Lexus LS 430 is a great driving sedan. The Sport Suspension really distinguishes how this car drives from the standard LS 430. A top of the line Lexus for 2002, this car comes loaded with features including a Mark Levinson sound system, Navigation and the Lexus luxury package. While there is some minor chipping in places, especially around the front bumper from normal road wear, the car has aged well overall. The maintenance has been conducted by Lexus dealership for years, including the installation of a new timing belt. The Michelin tires are in good condition. The power door lock on the right front passenger door does not work with the power locks, and the driver's side mirror must be adjusted by hand, but all other power items work well Even at 145,000 miles, this car is still a great driving sedan with a luxury interior. I am selling because I own four cars and it is time to sell the oldest. I have really loved driving this car in Houston. I understand that many people are looking for "as good as new" cars, and some people represent that their car looks as good as new, even when it is over 10 years old. This car looks and runs good, but has the minor items described, as one would expect. I will sell this car at a price which takes into consideration that it is a good car , but with typical wear.

Needs Work! Pictures show cosmetic condition. Sound engine, not too many cosmetic issues. Fully loaded! Selling because it needs suspension work and a power steering hose and pump. I decided to get a newer vehicle due to personal circumstances. Unfortunately, had to convert the adjustable suspension in 2011. Otherwise a good vehicle that ran really well outside of the suspension issues. Its not driveable due to those issues, but when they work, it drives very well. It will need to be towed away. I will not allow it to be driven away. Registration good until Oct. Still covered under insurance. Last driven in March 2015, but was started up every month until July. There's also a hybrid flagship model, the LS 600h L, which we cover in a separate review. Luxury, comfort, and high-tech features are the focus in the 2008 Lexus LS 460; thus, it should have satisfying performance for buyers who are considering this rather reserved big sedan. A 380-horsepower, 4.6-liter V-8 is mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission--the world's first--and drives the rear wheels. The engine is one of the smoothest and best isolated of any vehicle, and it has plenty of torque to move the LS 460 with authority. However, the transmission's indecision on congested freeways and gradual grades lessened the enjoyment. Inside and out, the 2008 Lexus LS 460 is very conservatively styled. With an organic and elegant L-finesse design language that doesn't rely on gimmicky details, the LS will likely age well. The interior is quite attractive in its simplicity, with a two-tiered dash and contrasting materials that are soft to the touch. The only downside is that some of the switchgear mimics that used in much cheaper Lexus models. Front seats are ample and comfortable, though not as supportive as they could be, but a very wide center console makes the seating area feel unexpectedly narrow. In back, there's adequate room even for tall and lanky adults with the LS 460, while the LS 460 L has room for legs to sprawl. And with either the standard or the available air suspension, the ride is glassy-smooth and absorbent. The 2008 Lexus LS 460 offers some of the most advanced technology features of any vehicle.XM Satellite Radio provides live traffic information to the navigation system. The available Mark Levinson sound system has 19 speakers and 450 watts, and it comes with 8GB of hard-drive space for MP3s. There's even a self-parking feature that steers the LS 460 into a parallel or row parking spot as the driver backs up; some will find it helpful, but to others it's a gimmick. The following is a list of maintenance and repairs that have been done recently:- New paint (old clearcoat was peeling due to sun damage over the years)- Tie rod ends and right ball joint- Power steering fluid and brake fluid flush- New spark plugs and air filter- Oil change- New front brake pads and resurfaced rotors- New battery As you can see in the pictures, driver's seat bolster is worn out and has a tear. It can be repaired, however I did not have the time to get to it. Hood closes securely, but will need to be aligned. There are some lines or cracks in paint on the driver's side door. I was told by the paint shop this was due to the paint beneath having been cracked. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. Cash in person is preferred so you can see the car yourself, but I will accept certified cashier's check. Please note there's a $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction close.
