This fine Ford F250 is factory custom service bed model built in San Jose, California as far as I can tell from the VIN. It is a Ranger - Camper Special model with a 1 ton dually utility/ service bed rear end. Completely rebuilt and balanced Ford 390V8 with RV camshaft for superior towing and parts used for regular unleaded pump gas. I have receipts for the new parts and all the work done at reputable local mechanics. Approx 2K miles since rebuild and after 500 mile break-in oil and filter were changed. The following are new: large capacity radiator, shroud, hoses, belts, manual fan, overflow reservoir, water pump, thermostat, 2 fuel filters (added an extra in line filter. The truck had three tanks. We removed one, so it has factory tank in use and a second under the bed), high output (160 amp) 1 wire alternator, heavy duty auxiliary transmission oil cooler, auxiliary electric radiator fan with on/off toggle switch in cab, heater hoses and core, water temp and oil pressure gauges in cab, dual battery set-up heavy gauge wire & 2nd battery isolator, factory exhaust manifolds and new exhaust with Flow-master. Holley carburetor was rebuilt and has manual choke. Solid no rust truck with mainly original paint. There is some surface rust visible in pictures but none is structural and there was some painting done to dash and one side of service bed before I bought the truck. Built to last like automobiles used to be made. Automatic transmission shifts well. There is a dent to hood where it flew open apparently while being driven. (I included a photo). I removed the old school interior (Frigette) add-on AC set-up and compressor before the engine work but I have it and it goes with the truck. The interior cab fan doesn't run, the turn signal switch sticks and you have to move it to get the signal to go off, driver's side lower bench seat has tears, needs front brake pads, one utility bed compartment handle needs replacing but all compartments open/close and lock with a key. There are two pieces in the bed that need to be welded back in where the tires come into bed when there is a heavy load in the bed of the truck. The above mentioned items need finishing. Fresh paint would be very nice. Buyers are welcome to arrange to see the truck before bidding (north San Diego County, CA-92027). Clean California Title. Shipping at buyers arrangement and expense.
