I am selling my 2001 mustang cobra with a CLEAN TITLE. The car was just repainted. It runs great and has new walbro 255 fuel pump. The transmission has around 55k miles on it and had about 7k miles on a spec stage 3 clutch. It also has a diablo programmer, bassani catted x pipe with a bbk intake, bbk 65mm throttle body and eibach lowering springs. The rear brakes on the car are new oem ford rotors with ceramic pads and the front has about 10k miles on hawk hps pads. The bad on the car: I purchased this car a little over 6 years ago and ended up selling it to someone I worked with, he spun the car out at the drag strip his first pass at (SIR) and hit the passenger quarter into the wall. The car sat for the next 5 years until he paid off the loan. Since this happened at the drag strip it was not insurable. I then purchased the car back from him about 8 months ago and began fixing it. It now has a new oem rear quarter panel on it and was freshly painted. The problem is there is frame damage underneath which was not seen or addressed by the body shop. So in order to try to fix that the work that has already been done on that quarter panel might have to be redone. I don't have the time or patience anymore. The car has a clean title and will come with the polished oem 2001 cobra wheels. I have 2 brand new in the boxes oem wheels and the 3 undamaged ones that are from the car originally. The bullit wheels ARE NOT INCLUDED. The car does still need a few things, the driver seat is a little bent from the wreck and the IRS rear sway bar is also bent and will need to be replaced with new end links. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I will help with shipping needs. I am just trying to see if I get any interest in the car the way it sits otherwise I will be parting it out. 1964 1/2 MustangThis classic icon of american muscle has been fully restored with attention to detail and an un-wavering demand in having it done right as well as keeping most everything original. So much so as to having it's navy blue interior completely replaced and done in the factory red just like the very 1st mustang to roll off the assembly line in 64. There are few alterations from stock condition in way of the Grant red wood grain & chrome steering wheel, The 65, steel wheels w red pony insignia spindles, Edelbrock air cleaner & valve covers. Red leather snap on cover for the convertible top compartment area. Not a stock option in 64, seat belts have been installed. 289 V8 not in jewel fashion, but every bit of the power house its legend boasts. Pony emblem floor mats in the front and plain red for the rear. The minimal service work needed I.E. starter install & brake cylinders replaced is truly all that is required to be considered in running, driving condition. Parts for these issues will be included with the vehicle. Truly a beautiful car not the holy grail but a far cry from an entry level collector stand point. I'd say car show quality for sure. Restoration was a pain staking process of over 3 years. Paint, body, interior, motor, tranny, convertible top, and every inch in between was restored or replaced. This is the one you'll kick yourself for letting it pass you by !!!!

This is one of those rare cars that has only been driven 2034MI since its purchase back in 2008 by it current owner. The car is fully loaded and presents like new. Please call us for more info. Here is what car and driver wrote in 2008. "With the successful launch of the Shelby GT behind it and retiree GT-H Hertz rental Mustangs selling as high as $90,000 at auction, the Shelby leviathan continues to chug forward and spew forth special-edition Mustangs. In New York, Shelby launches the 2008 Ford Shelby GT500KR, a special-edition GT500 commemorating the 40th anniversary of the original "King of the Road." The GT500KR is the second product after the GT500 to wear the almost-defunct SVT badge, reminding us that Ford still claims it has a performance division. In 1967, the New York auto show played host to the launch of the original GT500KR, a version of the Shelby Mustang powered by a 428-cubic-inch Cobra Jet V-8 rated at 335 horsepower. With the '08 model's supercharged 5.4-liter V-8 underhood wearing a Ford Racing Power Upgrade Pack (revised ignition timing and throttle calibration, plus a cold-air intake), the 2008 KR outdoes its predecessor by 205 horsepower a margin greater than the entire output of some V-8 Mustangs of the 1980s with 540. That herd travels rearward through a six-speed manual with a short-throw shifter to a shorter 3.73:1 rear end (stock is 3.31:1) for quicker giddyap, while snorts and whinnies get an extra edge from a revised exhaust system. The King knows that some of its subjects wind and dip, so the GT500KR gets a unique Ford Racing suspension tune. "The production Shelby GT500 was maximized to deliver the perfect balance between ride and handling," says Jamal Hameedi, chief nameplate engineer, Ford SVT. "In that same ride-versus-handling continuum, the KR will lean heavier toward all-out handling while still making it drivable on the street." Beyond the yawning hood vents and racing stripes already in place on lesser GT500s, the GT500KR gets the signature hood, reminiscent of the original KR, in carbon fiber with two forward-looking mail slots at the leading edge of the hood feeding the blown 5.4's appetite for air and twist-down hood pins for a more secure racer flair. The stick-through pins on the Shelby GT we tested recently actually vibrated out of their posts on rough roads. The Cobra badges in the grille and on the fenders add wings proclaiming them as the badges of not just any Shelby Mustang but the 40th-anniversary GT500KR. Rocker stripes on the Shelby mimic those on the original car, right down to the typeface used for the lettering. The Triton engine uses four valves per cylinder (versus three in the iron-block truck version) and the cylinder heads from the Ford GT, which has an aluminum block. Ford will begin selling the new Mustang in the spring of 2008 and will only build 1000 examples. We figure the S-word on the hood and the slight power bump below should be good for about a $12,000 premium, putting the King of the Road solidly into the mid-$50,000 arena.
