This is a late 1928 or early 1929 coupe. It is titled as a 28 , but has some 29 features. It is all steel with a straight and smooth body and a very nice high gloss professional body shop paint job. It has been driven since it was painted so their are a few nicks ect. but as the pictures show this is still a very sharp car. The interior has been replaced and looks like new. The top is also new. The engine and transmission have been gone through and it runs and shifts great. All the tires are brand new , even the spare on the back. All of the wheels have been powder coated gloss black. This car drives down the road very well with tight steering and no shimmy.Also the brakes are all new and work well. This coupe has a large trunk to keep your things on a trip. VIN 2378745 Very reliable 1929 Ford Model A Coupe with rumble seat. Has a ford 302 fuel injected with rebuilt 68 mustang c4 automatic transmission. Car body paint is said to be by previous owner to be 50 year old lacquer paint that has patina and checking and shrinking. I believe am the 3rd owner of the car. This car was transformed into a hot rod without taking away to much from its original character. It sits on the original frame rails that have been boxed with cross members installed to support drive line. Frame number matches the title! I have built many Model A's over the years and this combination with the fuel injection has been the best I have yet to build. Many new parts went into the build and to list a few.... new walker copper radiator, new 9 inch ford rear end with rebuilt open 3.50 gear set, new rear ladder bar rear end with new adjustable coil overs, gm type front disk brakes, new spindles, 4 dropped axle, dropped bolt on control arms new Vega steering box, spring, new wire wheels with matching Goodrich silvertown wide whitewall tires. Head lights, tail light, speedometer, fuel gauge all working. The car has no turn signals and only has the one tail light as it did originally in 1929. Car also has no seat belts or emergency brake and uses the stock fuel tank. The steering column was cut down from the original to look like factory inside the car but it uses the Vega steering box so it steers much easier. Car is a hot rod and has squeaks and rattles as all hot rods do. Car is sold as is with No warranty of any kind and is New owners responsibility to pay and set up any shipping or delivery. This 1931 coupe had a complete frame off restoration and engine rebuild in the 80's . It has been well cared for and driven off and on and stored inside year round. We have gone through the car and gave it a fresh tune up. It starts and runs smooth on idle as well as going down the road.The transmission shifts nice and smooth. The engine stays nice and cool with no over heat problems. The front end is tight and it steers nice with no shimmy. The brakes are like new and stop the car well. All the tires have good tread and are in good shape. The paint still has good shine but does have some chips and thin spots, but if you take a step back it still looks good. If you want a #1 perfect paint car this is not the one. But if you want a great looking "driver" car this is it. The interior has been re-done and still looks brand new top to bottom. All the lights work as well as the horn.The all steel fenders and body are straight and nice. We also have all the receipts for the engine and other work done over the years. This is a very nice 1931 Deluxe Coupe with rumble seat. The car has been restored from front to back . The paint has a high gloss and looks very good. The car has been driven and does have a few chips ect. but take a few steps back and it looks like new. The body and fenders are all steel and where straight and not rusted out before the frame off restoration. The mohair interior has been replaced and looks like new as well as the liner and the rest of the interior. The rumble seat works well and also has been re-done. The tires are brand new Firestone's and the rims have just been powder coated red. The engine has been rebuilt as well as the transmission. It starts and runs very strong and shifts like a model A should.All of the lights work as well as the horn. The brakes are new and the car stops well. 1930 rumble seat coupe . The engine and transmission have been overhauled in 2003 with very few miles since . All the receipts and paper work come with the car. The car starts and runs very well, breaks and steering also work great. The newer radiator and leakless pump keep the car cool. This car could be driven anywhere.
