With Broncos in their family since 1966, Erik & Kris Maxlider have always been passionate about this iconic vehicle. With over 20 years of dealership experience, Kris is the General Manager of the shop and is an ASE Certified Senior Master Ford Technician. Erik is the CEO and personally handles sales and customer management. We have 2 Senior Master Ford techs on the team, 2 apprentices, along with Keith Mortimer, a renowned Bronco body/paint expert. In this auction, we showcase our freshly restored 1973 Ford Bronco done in a gorgeous dark metallic grey color. The winner of this auction will be able to pick the color of their own build. As you will see in the photos, this is your chance to own a one-of-a-kind early Bronco that runs, drives and performs like a modern-day vehicle and looks like it just rolled out off the showroom floor. Engine: We are proud to be a BluePrint Engines dealer and have selected their fantastic 347 Stroker motor with upgraded fuel injection for your build. This 400HP engine provides plenty of power with 415 ft lbs. of torque. It includes aluminum heads, roller cam and a 30 month / 50,000 mile warranty! You will LOVE this motor. Transmission: The old Ford Broncos came from the factory with only 3 gears...and a 55MPH top speed. Not this one...we have chosen the 5 speed NV3550 tranny to give you a very modern driving experience. You will have all the top speed you need and it drives so smoothly, you'll want to make it your daily driver! Interior: The ProCar Scat front buckets are some of the most comfortable seats we have had in a Bronco. They fit the look of the Bronco perfectly and feel much better than the classic factory seats. The rear bench seat is a fold and tumble model from Tom's Bronco Parts. The inside of the tub has been lined to provide plenty of protection using the popular Raptor VOC kit. Interior colors and style can be changed to fit your needs. Body & Paint: It's beautiful! When needed, we will replace as much sheet metal as needed on your Bronco and we use the best products available. No bad patch jobs and shortcuts. We do it the right way. In the end, it will be laser straight and the gaps on your vehicle will be flawless. Keith is a magician... Wheels & Tires: The wheels on this Bronco fit the look perfectly. We selected the brand new Fuel Rampage 20x10" wheels that are finished in a gun metal grey and a gloss black outer lip that really set them off rolling down the road. The General Grabber AT2's are some of my favorite tires on a Bronco. They have a rugged look, but still stay quiet on the road. This set is almost $4,000 alone! You can select this same setup or opt for another color/style. Suspension:We recommend 3.5" of lift to create an aggressive look, but maintain drivability. We combined the 2.5" Lift Kit from Tom's Bronco Parts and 1" of body spacers to provide enough room for the upgraded transmission. This kit includes 7 degree C bushings and a nice smooth ride. We added the front and rear sway bars from the great guys at Hellwig products...no body roll! Your new Bronco will drive straight and feels safe. Upgrades & Features: Steering - We understand the steering pitfalls on these old Broncos and it starts with the power steering gear box. Your Bronco build will include a brand new Quick Ratio kit that includes a new gear box, Saginaw pump, lower shaft and better steering than the day it rolled off the assembly line! Vintage Air A/C and heat - We are a Vintage Air dealer and added the Bronco Gen 4 kit to this Bronco. It works GREAT and you will love it in your Bronco. Overhaulin Roll cage - Just like one Chip Foose used in his show...it's on this Bronco in the photos. Not your style? Upgrade to a full 8 point family roll cage or dial it back to the basic 4 point roll bar. Your choice. Centech wiring - Our builds get all new wiring harness from Centech! Bumpers - A one-of-a-kind front bumper was combined with a heavy duty spare tire & equipment carrier rear bumper. Rather have the classic chrome factory bumpers? Let us know and we can adjust to meet your needs. Lights - The halo headlights from Octane Lighting are perfect for the early Ford Bronco...and they look awesome. You will love them on your Bronco! Black Chrome - The side mirrors and door handles on this Bronco are black chrome. We will go with basic chrome if it better fits your design/style. Engine: We are proud to be a BluePrint Engines dealer and have selected their fantastic 347 Stroker motor with upgraded fuel injection for your build. This 400HP engine provides plenty of power with 415 ft lbs. of torque. It includes aluminum heads, roller cam and a 30 month / 50,000 mile warranty! You will LOVE this motor. Transmission: The old Ford Broncos came from the factory with only 3 gears...and a 55MPH top speed. Not this one...we have chosen the 5 speed NV3550 tranny to give you a very modern driving experience. You will have all the top speed you need and it drives so smoothly, you'll want to make it your daily driver! Interior: The ProCar Scat front buckets are some of the most comfortable seats we have had in a Bronco. They fit the look of the Bronco perfectly and feel much better than the classic factory seats. The rear bench seat is a fold and tumble model from Tom's Bronco Parts. The inside of the tub has been lined to provide plenty of protection using the popular Raptor VOC kit. Interior colors and style can be changed to fit your needs. Body & Paint: It's beautiful! When needed, we will replace as much sheet metal as needed on your Bronco and we use the best products available. No bad patch jobs and shortcuts. We do it the right way. In the end, it will be laser straight and the gaps on your vehicle will be flawless. Keith is a magician... Wheels & Tires: The wheels on this Bronco fit the look perfectly. We selected the brand new Fuel Rampage 20x10" wheels that are finished in a gun metal grey and a gloss black outer lip that really set them off rolling down the road. The General Grabber AT2's are some of my favorite tires on a Bronco. They have a rugged look, but still stay quiet on the road. This set is almost $4,000 alone! You can select this same setup or opt for another color/style. Suspension:We recommend 3.5" of lift to create an aggressive look, but maintain drivability. We combined the 2.5" Lift Kit from Tom's Bronco Parts and 1" of body spacers to provide enough room for the upgraded transmission. This kit includes 7 degree C bushings and a nice smooth ride. We added the front and rear sway bars from the great guys at Hellwig products...no body roll! Your new Bronco will drive straight and feels safe. Upgrades & Features: Steering - We understand the steering pitfalls on these old Broncos and it starts with the power steering gear box. 1967 Ford Bronco.  Great running project vehicle.  Fiberglass tub, fiberglass fenders, fiberglass grille, fiberglass doors.  Hood and top are steel. Item is sold "as-is" with no warranty.  Many new parts.  It is being sold "as pictured".  What you see is what you get. Truck moves on its own, but I would not call it a roadworthy, daily driver.  It would need to be towed upon pickup. Items needed to complete the vehicle include - door and window glass (vent windows only), tailgate (will include beater tailgate with internals), interior (just a beater frame included), exhaust (currently open headers - sound great - but loud), finish wiring (only running wiring now), and paint (truck in primer). Doors and hood latch. All the hard stuff is done. Super nice frame is solid, straight, and epoxied painted. Body is in epoxy sealer. This is a beautifully restored Bronco, no expense spared. It is originally a rust free Alabama truck. Every piece of chrome or stainless is brand new, I have all receipts. Brand new grille with matching color of the truck(custom idea very detailed),Brand new taillights, headlights, park lights and surrounding chrome, with bulbs. Moving to the inside of the truck, the seats are in perfect shape no rips or tears, no stains, front seats are power lumbar and they work. Brand new black carpet front and rear. Privacy glass all the way around, Kenwood CD player with speakers and remote. Brand new windshield with moldings. Brand new Superlift suspension very detailed! Front and rear axles are painted and detailed( down to the nuts and bolts!) Brand new Wheels, tires are like brand new with 95% left, 200k on the dash, previous owner had all seals and gaskets replaced, runs very quiet no noises no issues. Rear window works with the dash button and the key! The fitment of all the panels is perfect! Original sheet metal too! It won Best of Class at this years Chicago 2015 World of Wheels. For sale is an awesome start to an awesome vehicle! What you see in the pictures is what progress has been made on the vehicle. It will of course need to be finished, but this 1966 Bronco has had a full show-quality restore started on it- Powdercoated Frame, differentials, radius arms, wheels, etc. All new freshly rebuilt front and rear differentials ( 4.10 rear I believe) Fresh, never ran, zero miles, (get it?) professionally built-by-an-ASE-Certified-Ford-Master-Technician-Who-Predicts-400HP (get it? get it?) 351W engine. The motor mounts and frame horns have been modified to accept this motor. One of those slick distributors that adapts a GM one-wire Ignition coil-in the cap style coils to a Ford lower portion for a cleaned-up one-wire system I do still have the original 170 6cyl which ran when we removed it (one of those deals) and the original 3 speed transmission It now has a 5 speed Ford manual transmission from an early 90's pickup (M5OD) partially mounted- it still needs buttoned up. Transfer case from the same 90's pickup Brand new clutch kit and flywheel (not installed) Front disc brake conversion (that wasn't cheap...) All new Energy Suspension Bushing kit (I still have the remaining bushings and they come with it) 2.5" suspension lift - front and rear, which means new leaf springs and coil springs Complete stainless-steel bolt kit (like...everything...) Warn Lockouts - New More stuff than I can remember - See pictures! Now, the body is another story... When I bought this thing, the body was junk (like most of its brethren) from age. I do still have it and if you want it, you can have it. It's been cut in half and looks like swiss cheese, but you can have it. The pickup cab shell is in pretty darn good shape though, and it also comes with. As a matter of fact, everything that I can find that even resembles a 1966 Bronco part that I can find around this place will come with the truck if you want it. Ultimately, this is a project that I started a few years ago and just lost interest. I have over $6,500 invested (With an Excel spreadsheet to prove it...ugh), so clearly I'm just trying to make space in the shop for more pressing matters. Again, I can't stress enough the kind of potential this truck has, and in your hands, will be a beautiful show piece, a daily driver, a mud monster, rock crawler or some other badass thing that I haven't thought of!
