I purchased this car from an estate sale. Restoration was near complete but needed finishing. From what I know, everything on the car has been gone through. Car is turn key, starts right up and drives. Once warmed up I'll get the "free starts". The Depot Hack body is one of the best I've ever seen. Car appears to have been a 1927 Tudor that was converted to a Depot Hack. Since I've owned it the following has been completed: new starter, generator, cut-out, fan belt, transmission bands adjusted, lights hooked up, new dry cell battery, new battery cables, new starter switch, rebuilt carburetor, fuel tank cleaned. The bad: when headlights are on high-beam, only the left one works (Both work in low-beam, bulbs are both good. I don't drive it at night and if I have the time I'll begin trouble-shooting) - The speedometer and all linkage is missing, I've been casually looking and if I find one I will install. Comes with many extra parts: running board luggage rack, spare tire, intake and exhaust manifolds, carburetor, wiring, manuals, other misc pieces. clear IL title I've had the pleasure of driving this vehicle around town and to local shows. Fun car to drive and a real head-turner. Only reason I am selling is because I'm looking for a 1930's touring sedan which would be more practical for my family.

Up for auction is my father's 1912 Ford Model T Torpedo brass era car. My father was the owner of a local gas/service station and avid car enthusiast. He well cared for, maintained, and enjoyed this car since he bought it in 1984. He also was a member of the Midwest Model T car club for the last 30 years. This Ford model T has been displayed in many car shows including the Chicago Auto Show. The car has always been garage kept, has no rust, and is very straight. Stored in a climate controlled building. Car is not perfect, it was used and enjoyed. So there is a scratch here and there. The Model T starts, runs, drives, and stops. The car was registered and plated and regularly driven by my father to many events. The car was restored before he owned it, but believed to have all original parts still on it. Has four cylinder engine, brass lights and lamps, Stewart speedometer, carbide generator, clock, and other brass parts and accessories. Has wood rim wheels. Convertible top not finished, just missing top material. Rare model low production car . I'm not into cars so I would like this to go to a good home where it will be enjoyed. I have a clean and clear title. If interested give me a call at 815-436-8192. My name is Robert. I don't reply to emails so best is just to call. Serious inquiries only. Sold as is, no warranties. This is a solid all steel very original model T touring . This car was restored back to original spec's and still looks good for an older restoration. The body was very straight and solid with no rust through and then was professionally painted and still looks good but does have nicks and chips from use. A fresh paint job would make it look like new but it is a good looking "driver" as is. The top was replaced and still looks good, and goes up in down with no problem, but does have a small tear and one hole that have been repaired. There is also a full set of side curtains that fit well on it. The seats have been re-done and look very nice with no tears or problems. The engine starts and runs strong with no blue smoke. The brand new radiator keeps the engine cool with no over heating. The fan belt and hoses have been replaced also. We replaced the head gasket and manifold gaskets and checked things over and all looked good. The engine runs on the battery and the mag. The steering is tight and runs true with no shimmy. All the tires are almost new with no cracking . All the lights work , and we just installed a new battery. This touring is a pleasure to drive and is very reliable. It is not a perfect #1 show car, but is a great solid original car that looks and drives very well. We have it priced to sell but we are open to offers, call 815-848-2119 . We do have a trailer and could deliver up to 400 miles . We are a small dealer in IL. and we specialize in Ford model T & A cars and trucks. Feel free to call anytime if you have any questions. 815-848-2119 ask for Jim. Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered. Be sure to call us at 815-848-2119 to work out the details.

For sale is my recently completed restoration of a 1917 Ford Model T Touring car. This 98 year old antique vehicle was partially restored when I purchased it a few months ago. The prior owner of the vehicle passed away prior to completion, but had replaced all tires and wooden spokes, and rebuilt the engine with fresh babbitt bearings and had installed a larger Model A crankshaft, Model A piston rods and specialty aluminum .040 oversize pistons with four rings. This work was accomplished perhaps in the early 2000's, and then was placed in storage until I purchased it two months ago. The 'fresh' tires now have some minor age cracks, but have virtually zero wear on the treads. The car had the original top irons included with the sale, but no top or interior upholstery was done. I installed a new top, new upholstery and new seat springs, new floor mats, and rebuilt era correct coil box, coils and Tiger timer, along with new wiring throughout. The engine was also never ran up after having been rebuilt, and I disassembled the motor and found that the magneto magnets and coil ring had been removed. I replaced these components with the correct components which I recharged and reconditioned , and the magneto now produces approximately 11 volts AC at an idle, and around 25 volts AC under normal running RPMs: a very powerful ignition system currently. It also has a 6 volt battery with generator and electric starter (neither of these components were OEM to the 1917 model year, but are extremely useful when used for touring and daily driving). I also replaced the piston rings with new specialty rings from Egge Pistons in California, and had honed the cylinders prior to installation. A high compression head has also been added by me to accommodate the increased power from the larger Model A crank and longer compression stroke. The cam has been ground to increase the duration of valve opening, and much larger main bearing caps and bolts/nuts have been installed. A rebuilt Holley NH carburetor has been installed and provides adequate fuel for this 191 cubic inch engine (original block displacement is 177 cubic inches). All of this engine work and machine work is not visible, and accordingly the only visible alterations to this engine are the addition of the generator and cutout as well as the electric starter, the 1/2" lower cylinder head, and larger main bearing nuts. Only an experienced Model T expert will be able to detect any modifications, and to most all others, this car looks to be original. In other words, it does not appear to be 'hot rodded', but it indeed has more power than the original 20 horsepower engine. My estimate of the current power would be approximately 32 horse power. To cool engine with this increase in HP, a newly manufactured radiator has been added, and no overheating problems exist currently. This increase in power allows the car to travel at much greater speeds, but the 1917 Touring platform/suspension does not support any speeds beyond 45 miles an hour with stability. Extreme caution should be exercised in traveling at these higher speeds, and this 'stroker' engine is primarily designed to allow the operator to navigate hills without losing as much speed and/or down shifting into low gear. It also allows much faster time to achieve cruising speed when shifting from low to high gear. The torque of this more powerful engine is adequate to power through moderate hills with no stress to the engine, and no threat of breaking the much stronger Model A crankshaft, as was a possibility of the weaker original crankshaft. Sold on an 'as is, where is' basis. $1,500.00 nonrefundable deposit via PayPal required within 48 hours of sale, and the balance due within 7 days of sale. All funds must clear seller's bank prior to release of the vehicle to the buyer or buyer's agent for transport. Seller can assist the transport company with loading the vehicle onto buyer's trailer, but driving Model T's onto trailers is tricky and even the most experienced Model T drivers cannot warrant that they will not have issues loading these old cars into tight spaces typically present on car haulers. Purchaser must take possession of the vehicle within 30 days of the date of sale on eBay, and if delays in picking the car up exceed 30 days, a $150.00 per month storage fee will be assessed for each month the car remains in my custody. Purchaser must carry comprehensive insurance immediately upon purchase and during storage, as seller will cancel the existing comprehensive insurance policy upon date of sale. IMPORTANT NOTE: 1917 authentic Illinois license plates, luggage rack and antique suitcase, bulb horn shown in photos are not included with the car, seller will remove them upon sale to ultimate purchaser prior to shipment.

This one-of-a-kind 1927 Ford Roadster isn’t your “backyard build”. It’s a proven driver built by nationally famous Cotati Speed Shop in Santa Rosa, California. It has been featured in Street Rodder Magazine, Flowmaster advertisements, and other marketing materials. It features Shadow Rods’ XL27 steel body serial number #001 and sits on a custom ’32 frame. Using boxed ASC ’32 rails and adding Cotati Speed Shop’s “ribcage” tubular center support, this frame is as strong as they get. The Ford 9 inch rear is hung with a triangulated four-bar and torsion bar suspension with Bilstein coilovers. The dropped and drilled Superbell axle out front is supported by a Durant monoleaf spring and chromed shocks. Finned aluminum Buick drums with Wilson Welding backing plates up front and rebuilt rear drums provide stopping power.

Relisting do to non-paying high bidder. Here is a sharp 1927 Ford Model T Runabout. Nicely maintained- the roof is fully removable. The body is solid, normal wear and nicks from driving and age. The fenders, running boards are solid and strong. The interior is fully removable and re-done by a professional upholsterer. Good percolating clean running motor, car doesn't drip any oil or gas, starter button was moved to the dash as convenience. Has a good NH carburetor, newer wiring and re-built coils & coilbox. I can't get the ammeter to register, it is newer. The brakes have an aftermarket equalizer so this car stops by both the pedal & the transmission, and you get both if you step hard enough. Bands feel like Kevlar (I was told). Engine is strong, sounds good, and I have uploaded two videos for you to hear and see the car. All lights work and rear "STOP" brake light gets good attention. Nice door panels, restored steering wheel, original Model T key-fob and overall a nice solid car. Wire wheels and the tires and tubes are good. Radiator keeps the car cool and the original horn sounds great! Runs strong on battery and Magneto and the rear end was rebuilt by previous owner so both back wheels are tight. Winner to pay $200 down payment through PayPal and balance in cash or bank wire within a week or so. Clear Illinois title, no legal issues. This is a nice old Flivver shows itself very well! NO international bidders. Videos on Youtube.com: 1. Walk-around inspection video: http://youtu.be/v3yoKYWkeC4 2. Engine running: http://youtu.be/Q5OttfQYGzo

This 1926 sedan has had a recent frame off restoration with no expense spared. After the restoration was completed it was driven very little. We have given the car a complete tune up with new roller timer, adjusted the bands, and installed a new 6-volt battery. It has been driven for around 50 miles with no problems. It starts great and runs on the batt. or mag. The engine runs strong and has no blue smoke. The body and fenders are steel and look nice. The paint has a nice showroom gloss just like the pictures show. The interior is very good and looks like new. The wheels are tight and nice with new tires. The front end is tight with no shimmy. All the lights work as well as the horn. A water pump has been installed and the car runs cool with no overheating. The top is very good and still looks like new. We do have a trailer and could deliver up to 400 miles . We are a small dealer in IL. and we specialize in Ford model T & A cars and trucks. Feel free to call anytime if you have any questions. 815-848-2119 ask for Jim.
