Aside from being a Police Interceptor, this car was also ordered with driver and passenger airbags, factory AM/FM stereo, functioning Unity spotlight, a gun rack in the trunk and a gun holster under the steering wheel. For a souvenir, south Miami patch badge on dashboard included. Nice driving, tight unit...not a beat-up police car. It is as close to driving a brand-new car as you will ever experience. Condition / Functional: This surplused 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Interceptor starts, runs and cruises tight and smooth, the brakes seem like-new and the steering still feels very tight and accurate. Some taxi companies have operated these cruisers well past 300,000 miles (when properly maintained). No unusual noise(s) coming from engine, no Check Engine Light present, the transmission shifts smoothly into all gears as when brand new. The rear door locks and related mechanisms have been reinstalled. The horn and the courtesy dome light have been reactivated. All (4) power windows work properly as well as the automatic Cruise Control. All power driver seat settings work properly. The A/C clutch is so quiet that you really need to pay attention to perceive when it engages. The car has not yet completed 200 miles since the oil was changed using full-synthetic Mobil 1 oil, new motorcraft oil filter and FRAM air filter were installed. A set of new Iridium plugs appear to have been installed not long ago – so, replacement was not needed. The car is currently using 93 octane gas; however, this vehicle is designed to work properly with lower octane fuels. Actual mileage might change a few miles due to test drives/transport to storage. Very well maintained, in above average condition. Condition - Exterior / Interior: The paint is near new condition; however, being a used police cruiser, some hard to find dings or dents might be present. The roof and trunk panels have been refinished to eliminate the factory drilled antenna holes. Also, as noted, I ordered the removal of the Police Spot light, the driver’s side paint was refinished accordingly to conceal the spotlight chamfer at the door frame and a new LH Front Interior “A” Pillar Trim cover was installed. The undercarriage shows signs of light rust since the vehicle spent most of the time in the upper states, particularly Virginia. The vehicle may be inspected by you or your designee by appointment until Wed., Sept. 23rd - 04:00p.m. E.T.; I will try to accommodate every appointment request. Currently we are on this kick of finding nice Street Appearance Units and passing them on as they are. This one was a Fire Department vehicle. It did have decals down the side but no lightbar or holes. It runs and drives great. The exterior is in great condition. The paint is in good condition for its age. The decals on the drivers side did take some of the clear coat with them. Tires have BRAND NEW Good Year Assurance. Since we didn't repaint this one how we normally do there are some chips and light surface scratches that can be seen in the pictures up close. The interior is is in equal good condition. Very minimal wear, there are some small stains that would come out with a good cleaning. The tint is dated and could use refreshing. Mechanically in excellent condition. Engine and transmission run like the day it left the production line. Everything works as it should. Cold A/C. All power options work. We go through a strenuous process before we put anything up for sale. It is important to us to disclose any imperfections that may detract from the beauty of this automobile. Usually there are none, they take better care of these units than any civilian would ever. We put it on the lift and inspect everything and replace anything needing replacement. Then we drive the vehicles for a week roughly putting on 200-300 miles or so on the highway and city to see if anything arises. We can't hear squeaks and rattles on the lift. Once we know the vehicle is top notch it is on to stage 2... Stage 2: Blank Slate This is where the vehicles are ready for sale to anyone with a custom order. They are 99% of the time white with black interiors waiting for whatever someone may request. We take it upon ourselves to build units on our own accord if no one picks a particular unit for their own project. We strip the vehicle down. Interior comes out, weather stripping comes off, trim, lights, grill, door panels, everything, and it is off to paint where it receives a factory style paintjob. You will never be able to tell if we did a color change or if the vehicle was factory in the particular color it is finished in. The seats, headliner and all other interior upgrades are performed as well. Stage 3: Post Paint When it is back from paint everything is outlined. A true street appearance unit that was never used for prisoner transport or patrol. It was used by the Department of Public Safety. No cage, no prisoner transport and barely any wear. ONLY 463 Idle Hours. You only see that in non police use units. It didn't sit outside in a huge police lot and was not used by a the whole agency. Like the last one, we decided to leave this gem alone and let it's original condition speak for itself. The exterior is in great condition. The paint is in good condition. Never had decals. Tires have BRAND NEW Good Year Eagle RSAs. They still smell new and have the nibs on them. Please be advised that used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail. We welcome and recommends a buyer's or third party inspection. If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please make sure you inspect the vehicle PRIOR to the auction ending. We would not even call them competition. Certainly we do not mean this in an arrogant way but more in a no one does this, not with Crown Vics. We've listened to our customers request, wants and needs over the years and cater our vehicles around these ideals. We go above and beyond to give our customers a turnkey reality of what they had envisioned. We personalize each one in its own individual way to what we think our customers want and put the same amount of thought, time, and effort into each unit. This is what sets us apart from the rest. Here is an outline of out process: Stage 1: Inspection The vehicle is received from the agency who will tell us any issues if any. Usually there are none, they take better care of these units than any civilian would ever. We put it on the lift and inspect everything and replace anything needing replacement. Then we drive the vehicles for a week roughly putting on 200-300 miles or so on the highway and city to see if anything arises. We can't hear squeaks and rattles on the lift. Once we know the vehicle is top notch it is on to stage 2... Stage 2: Blank Slate This is where the vehicles are ready for sale to anyone with a custom order. They are 99% of the time white with black interiors waiting for whatever someone may request. We take it upon ourselves to build units on our own accord if no one picks a particular unit for their own project. We strip the vehicle down. Interior comes out, weather stripping comes off, trim, lights, grill, door panels, everything, and it is off to paint where it receives a factory style paintjob. You will never be able to tell if we did a color change or if the vehicle was factory in the particular color it is finished in. The seats, headliner and all other interior upgrades are performed as well. Stage 3: Post Paint When it is back from paint everything is outlined. All the finishing touches are added and the vehicle is put back together, tested several more times and finally delivered.
