For those of you who remember when you got your car fueled up the attendant that ran out to fill your car up? He let me in the garage when I got to high school and did engine work, brakes, welding and just about everything else but where I really excelled is when he started selling cars, I enjoyed helping customers find the car or truck or there dreams. I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened this small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. I know these old cummins diesel/and 7.3's trucks pretty good and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. I bought this beauty in Daytona Floridia from a New car dealer who traded it in from the original family who owned it since new. Deep maintence history rotella every 5000, she fires right up no blow by or leaks, pump never tampered with all stock. Has 4 inch exhaust, cold air cleaner system, bully dog fuel system, has a built tranny with a billet dual disc converter and a US Gear Vendor Hi Lo rear check them online its a 4 grand add on. Good rubber, good brakes, real tight front end, spray in liner, truck never had a 5th wheel only the class5 on rear with brake controller. Excellent power its a dream to drive. Interior is full leather with all the toys smells good non smoker, looks fantastic, good dash/carpets, exterior is really nice with what looks to be all original paint in nice glossey shape, very straight panels, clean mint condition frame no rust or scabs. This is a true rare find for the person looking for the best and longest lasting truck out there, has another 500K left for sure. Cosmetically the cab and frame is in good shape very solid, the bed is junk has rust on the sides and pleany of dents, but it is usable tailgate works hauls cargo and tows fine. I have used beds available for $600-1500 extra cost, would make a good candidate for a steel flatbed or utility truck... Mecahnically pretty good. Engine fires up good, no check lights, or misfire. Good batteries, good brakes and exhaust. Trans shifts great good solid clutch and 4x4 does work good. Front end it tight, good track bar and ball joints, rubber not too bad either, I ersonally drove this truck 300 miles in from trade in, I don't think you will have any problem driving it home, really hits the road good. This is a 1 owner Texas rust free truck guys, the body is mint good paint good clean frame and underbody, very straight and sharp wit 145K original miles. Mechanically it is just pure flawless, excellent service history fresh rotella every 5000, brakes and all 6 cooper tires like new, new track bar, I personally installed a new triple disc HD clutch set in her just last week(includes a 1 year warranty too) drives straight and true, no chips but has air dog fuel system with HD lift pump and 5" stainless exhaust. Trust me guys she is built to pull and has tow hitch in bed. Interior nice with everything working nice dash seats, no stains or smells. Clean rustfree lowmileage cummins 6 speed not many out there its on a first come basis so don't fool around and waste time lowballing just get here asap!! The second I laid my eye on this out in Portland OR from the original owner I needed to own it, that was not easy the guy wanted a kings ranson and I paid it, and I'm glad I did, it served me well and it will serve the new owner well too. Its a rare truck I never even seen one before its a 98 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad 12 valve cummins turbo diesel 4WD Dullie longbox Larimie SLT with only 212K original miles, Portland OR 1 family owned truck well serviced too. I went all over it fresh filters and fluids, valve adjustment, good rubber, reman tranny less than a year old with 6 months left on warranty. She fires right up, no drips or blow by, good rubber, good ball joints, drives really tight, mechanicllly perfect. Body is all original paint never rust never accidents, very glossey finish, real straight truck, frame is also mint cond, interior super clean had seatcovers since new non smoker, no rips or cracks, cold air everything working has complete tow package and spray in liner. Keep in mind its a 17 year old pickup truck in non restored, not repainted condition so please expect very minor wear and tear, like a few rock chips, has 1 parking lot ding back by the tailpipe/right upper side of tailgate, and a little clear blemish on one of the fender flairs, but not in need of anything looks super nice, unless going for show condition to win a trophy or something!
