I have for sale a 2002 Dodge extended cab 4x4 dually diesel truck. The truck runs and drives great. It has a 5.9L Cummins engine, automatic transmission, and 4x4 on the floor. The truck rides and drives great with no blow by. It has right at 300,000 miles on it. I got this truck from a repair shop who, in the last three months, rebuilt the automatic transmission and did some repairs on the front end that totaled right at $3000, but I did not get any paperwork to prove that. I've put less than 1000 miles on the truck since that was done. The 4x4 works good. The truck has power windows and locks, cruise, and air. It does have some cracks in the dash and a rip in the seat. The body does have some dings and some rust. I would guess the tires to be 40-50% tread. It does have a ball in the bed for a gooseneck. I bought this truck to have a snow plow put on it, but a guy came and bought the plow so now I don't need the truck. This would make a great work truck or a plow truck if you had a plow to put on it. This 1996 Dodge Ram Sport is a running and driving truck with 181,360 miles. It is 2WD and has almost new rear tires and complete brakes. The transmission was rebuilt around 50K miles ago and does leak some fluid but if you just keep it topped off is good. It has a towing package and all the trailer wiring plugs work. There is a bed matte, pretty new radiator hoses, power cables, alternator, short side exhaust and quite a few other new or almost new parts. I have not had it on the road for about a half a year but starts and run great. The asking price is OBO and DOES NOT include the custom stereo or tool box. The tool box could go with the truck for an extra $90, and the custom stereo would include head unit all the wiring 2 kicker 12's, 2 door component speakers, 2 high range rear speakers, 3 amps & cap all raise mounted with cooling fans underneath that turn on when the stereo powers on. The wiring to the amps is 2 gauge with all the proper fuses and the wiring to the head unit is wired from the battery with it's own switch to power on. There are also 2 switches that power lighting 2 LED's on the door component speakers and 2 lights in the rear that illuminate the amps. With the custom stereo would be an additional $1800.00 firm on that. If you did not purchase with the custom stereo the stock system would go back in and there would be the cut outs showing from the component speakers being removed. This is a good low cost truck. Truck is in very good condition for vehicle year. There is some bubbles starting to show is 3 spots on truck. Still very early stages. NO rust through. I purchased this truck 5 years ago in Arizona and drove it back to Illinois. Rust proofed as soon as I got home. My wife and I love this truck, but with the 4inch straight exhaust it drives my dogs nuts when I drive on to the driveway. As you can see in the photos the truck is lifted 6inch. With 35inch tires and pocket fender flairs. Double shocks on front axle. within last 3,000 miles this is what was done to the truck:Replace and repair all front end- ball joints, tie rod ends, steering gear box, alignment. Replace and repair all bearings in rear differential. These replace and repairs were from normal wear and tear. Just replaced transmission, but not needed. Dodge dealer misdiagnosed transmission shifting problem as the transmission when it was a computer problem.So after replacing the computer the transmission is ok. Interior is very clean. Non smoking vehicle. Replaced the drivers seat with a power seat. Old seat had a tear on side of seat from getting in and out of truck. New dashboard overlay and dash bezel. Body of truck is showing better then it's age of 16 years. I am including pics of the 3 spots that are in need of attention to repair to keep truck looking good. There is NO rust through on this truck. Only a couple bubbles and clear coat that's starting to flake off. Engine runs strong and gets about 18-20 mpg combined. could be higher because speedo is not calibrated for the 35in. tires. When truck is driving 65mph according to the gps. the truck speedo says it's going 57mph. There is a computer chip installed and 4in. straight exhaust. Front axle was all rebuild and aligned and the rear axle differential had all bearings replaced. These were normal R&R due to size of lift and tires. After describing this truck I ask myself WHY ARE YOU SELLING IT? It drives my dogs crazy and they start fighting with each other trying to get to the door. So after letting the truck sit in the driveway for the winter and the dogs returning to normal, lol. The wife and I decided it's better to sell the truck before one of our dogs get injured. I bought this truck for it's awesome engine planning to put it in an Excursion, but I have too many projects and not enough time. Oh, the history report shows one minor accident.
