I have had it looked at and it is a wiring issue. Apparently this was common in dodge vehicles in recent years. I have priced new radio/cd players on ebay and they are around $40, you would just need to take it to a dealer for it to be programed. Runs great, I haven't had any issues with it since I bought it new.
