1985 Jeep CJ7 Presented by Blacksmith Garage This jeep has spent its entire life free of snow and road salt and has been preserved in amazing condition. The jeeps original owner passed away in the early 90's and the jeep was used sparingly over the subsequent years resulting in its low 49,000 miles. In 2010 the wife of the original owner decided to have it painted and spared no expense having it redone in its original color.. The interior is immaculate! It is mechanically sound, with a recent tune up and new shocks. The jeep is totally stock, runs well, shifts well, and is road ready. This is a great low mileage CJ7 and it is begging to get out and see some country. This Jeep is powered by its original 4.2 liter 6 cylinder motor with a 5 speed manual transmission. The engine idles and accelerates as it should with no problems. The transmission and clutch operate smoothly. The engine and transmission do not leak. The seats are pristine with no weather damage, fading, tears, or splits. The carpet is clean and well kept. The windshield glass has no stars or cracks. Wing window on drivers side may need a new hinge in the future but closes and is secure. . The brakes work as they should and the wheels and tires are in great shape.
