Odometer reads 178,452 miles, but actual mileage is 229,000 (I have the original meter); but engine sounds very health. A lot of new parts, ignition switch, ignition hardness, combination switch, AC compressor, AC condemner, AC accumulator, AC Fan assembly for the condenser, all this item have lifetime warranty. Both AC blower work, front and rear.; the front the high speed for the blower does not work; only 1, 2, and 3rd. Spider projector headlights and Anzo Led tail lights, better quality than oem.All seats are ok except for driver, a little tear, but NOT too big. Original radio, mileage is reading 178,000 not original. All gauges work, but got the gauge light on because of I got ground from the frame for one of the gauges. Truck is ready to go anywhere, across the country. A lot of money invested in new parts. California clean title, registration good unit 6/2016.Might need an alignment. We purchased this vehicle in1998 from Parker Robb Chevrolet in Walnut Creek, CA. (Now converted to a Honda dealer). Great family vehicle. New GM VIN number matched 5.7L 350 engine professionally installed in November 2015. 3 year / 36,000 mile warranty. Less than 500 miles on new engine. The 1997 Vortec 5.7 liter V8 was an increase of 50 horsepower from previous years. Other enhancements for 1997 included a beefed-up automatic 4 speed gearbox to handle the stronger engine and a new, electronically shifted transfer case that eliminated the floor-mounted mechanism. 1997 also brought a passenger side airbag. Electronic, variable-assist power steering provided more assist at lower speeds (such as when parking) and less assist at higher speeds (to allow for better road feel). Other steering enhancements included a smaller turning radius for 1500 models, making the four-wheel-drive Suburban easier to park and better able to handle tight spots when off-road. Hi ebayers! So the registration is about to come due on "old Sue," the Suburban we've carted our three retired racing greyounds around in for the past few years. We're recently down to two dogs, so instead of paying it, we thought someone else out there might enjoy her for awhile and we'll get something smaller. Don't let her size fool you, now ... being a Z71 model with the trick 305 engine, she's a feisty old gal who has no problem hauling her rather ample ass down the road in quick order. Seriously, a Suburban that's actually fun to drive ... who knew? Anyway, look at the zillion pics and then I'll tell you her story at the end of the pics. Check out the clean carfax summary in the ebay hosted pics. It tells a good story, but here it is in a nutshell. It was in the GM factory executive program from new in 2001 to 2004, when the gentleman I bought it from purchased it. He owned it til Nov. 1 2013, when I bought it from him, making me the third owner. The carfax says the 3rd owner came in 2014, but that's just because I neglected for several months to turn in the rest of the docs needed to complete the transfer. Anyway, the truth is I looked long and hard for this rig. Like three months long. Usually Suburbans are family haulers, so by the time they get to this age they're trashed and embarrassing to be seen in. I knew when I met the guy who sold it to me that I'd take the SUV regardless of it's two little issues. He was a meticulous man in dress and deed, and the truck showed it. The fact that he owned an retail oil company and had continued the first owners obsession with Mobile 1 was the clincher. The two little things I mentioned were the peeling clearcoat on the hood (only, the rest of the paint is perfect) and the small double crease in the back right corner. The truck was a dozen years old when I bought it and those were things I could live with. There are a few more things that I've learned to live with, too, the first being a defunct gas gauge. It's only a few hundred dollars to fix, but my admittedly cheap solution is to reset the trip odometer to zero and fill it up. It will go 420 miles on a tank, so I just fill it up anywhere from 200-300 miles and I've never, ever had a problem. Also, the ABS and E-brake lights on the dash stay on all the time. When I took it in to the dealership, they said that both systems were working fine, but they weren't able to get the lights to stay off. So they're still on a year later and I simply ignore them. Finally, the truck is hard to keep aligned. No clue why, and the guy I bought it from said he finally gave up and just bought tires more often. I've actually only had to align it once and haven't had to put on any tires. It comes with a file an inch thick with all the repairs and maintenance done by the previous owner and myself. If you're thinking about flying in to Palm Springs and driving home, that's great but I'd definitely have the fluids, belts, etc. checked and or changed first. I can recommend a great mechanic. 2002 Suburban 4x4 with third row removable seat, tow package, tinted rear window glass, running boards, luggage rack and power front seats. The transmission was replaced at 97K. The rear brakes were just replaced as was the smog sensor. Vehicle passed smog this year. Tires were replaced in 2013 and have only driven a little over 10k. I have had it for 20 years. This is a Florida vehicle and meets ALL California smog checks. In the past year I have invested over 12,000 in mechanical and not including paint which was 7,000. I was restoring this for my nephew but in the end he wanted 4W/drive. I was in N.Y for one year before I drove out here and had to register it so that's why in the pictures you see N.Y. plates. The vehicle has 240,000 Miles on it but everything that could be rebuilt was or replaced with new. Complete motor rebuild, Brakes, Shocks, AC all with 9000 Mi and all stock. Transmission 2000 Mi. Rear end 2000 Mi. Front end 2000 Mi. 18 in wheels and tires were over 2,000 dollars alone. Took all interior out and put sound matting throughout the whole vehicle. Besides the wear on driver seat and very little on passenger the back seat and removable 3rd seat are flawless. New carpet and headliner. I updated the grill to an 04 and put high output 2013 head lamps in. Put all new weather stripping in all doors and it is so quit on the road. Kenwood stereo W/Bluetooth, Pandora, Usb and lots more. Tinted driver and passenger windows and mirrored from passenger back. The paint is 6 years old base coat clear coat and wet sanded. the roof and hood are blk and smocked down to charcoal grey. A few small nicks but still beautiful. I have receipts for all mechanical but so much small stuff I replaced that cost a couple grand. New cat muffler, headers, motor mounts, starter, alternator, gear box, u joints and plenty more everything that I could replace when it was apart I did. This vehicle runs and drives perfect and is solid.

This is a 1991 Chevrolet Silverado trim Suburban R2500 with the 7.4L Tonawanda V8 with a 4 speed automatic transmission with over drive, it has a 3.73 differential ratio. I've recently dumped over $3,000 of engine work in this tank, it has a brand new block bored .30 over in the cylinders, same with the crankshaft and the camshaft was resurfaced. New parts that I can think of off the top of my head though I'm sure there's lots more: New pistons, crank bearings, gaskets all around, push rods, connecting rods, harmonic balancer, piston rings, oil pressure switch, heater core, fuel injectors, fuel regulator, TBI gaskets, Cherry bomb 3" single chamber race muffler, goodyear gatorback serpentine belt, air filter, plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor, engine block valve covers and intake manifold and air filter housing freshly painted black. There's a lot more work done to it, it starts fantastically and runs great and has a ton of power. I've owned it now for about 5 months and found I'd prefer to have something a bit smaller. The engine has 30k miles of warranty with the shop that did it, I will include all the files it came with when I bought it of previous maintenance performed on it through the years which is amazingly meticulous. If you have followed duramax powered suburbans you know we are the most reasonably priced in the game..We don't have salesman and flooring costs like others therefore we are able to pass the savings on. We use ONLY west coast suburbans that haven't been in the salty snow covered roads (regardless of what people will say, the salt from the roads WILL eventually show its ugly face and your burb WILL rust). This burb you are bidding on is a SUPER clean 2007 white LOADED 2500 4x4 . It has two tone interior with light grey leather, heated seats, sunroof, factory DVD, navigation, third row seating, back up camera, back up sensors, power lift gate, adjustable pedals, etc.. We then did our usual CSK duramax conversion using a 2008 LMM duramax,6 speed allison transmission, 2hi 4hi 4lo transfer case, front and rear diesel differentials (rear 11.5 with G80 locker), new driveshaft, fuel cooler, factory exhaust to include cat. We do NO tuning, aftermarket exhausts etc due to most dealers not willing to work on high performance diesels due to reliability issues. These diesels now are so powerful, torquey and reliable out of the box theres really no need to. Tires are like new. Body is super clean with no damage, dings etc. Vehicle has 94851 (will have more as my wife has been driving)(that is the duramax cluster, suburban had low 100s before conversion).
