The truck is an 08 model C1500 2 wheel drive extra cab short box, and it's been modified as a custom air bagged low rider. This is a bit out of the realm of what we normally work on, but it was too fun to pass up on. The truck has new air bags at all 4 corners, new air compressors, nice 22" wheels and brand new tires. The paint and body are in excellent shape overall and interior is super clean. This truck drives well for a custom rig, it sits up at reasonable clearance when all the way up, and as you can see in the photos, the bags will drop it right to the frame rails. If you're after a sport truck this is a sound platform and should be a great truck for a long time to come. exterior This unit is good and straight overall with just a few little blemishes. The paint has nice gloss, no body rust, hail, or obvious scratches. It's a 100k mile truck and not perfect, but the photos show it well. The front bumper trim caps have a few screws at the bottom, small nick in hood, rock chips, etc, and the bed shows normal truck wear. The left rear 1/4 has a small scuff.The wheels have been sanded primed, painted and cleared, and look very good. The tires are new. The windshield has 1 chip and a crack all the way below the wipers, you can barely see it. Our cost is $125 to replace if you want a new one. The wheels generally fit nicely inside the fenders and they don't rub the body when the suspension is up, bed has obviously been modified. There's a tiny bow to the left front fender, barely barely visible, tried to show it in the photos. interior The cabin is nice and clean. It doesn't smell of smoke. The dash, doors, headliner, upholstery, carpet, all in good shape with minimal wear. The seating was all pulled out during cleaning. The accessories all work, drivers window regulator is new, and there's zero warning lights on the dash, it has functional TPMS sensors. mechanical We've been through the truck, changed all 4 air bags, installed new air compressors in the box, and replaced some of the fittings in the air bag system. This setup is about 95% there, it does leak down overnight a bit, probably needs just and will need a little tinkering to get just right. The truck drives nicely, you can tell it's just a hair stiffer than a regular truck, but it has shocks and is easy to get about in, perfectly suitable for daily use. The kit was a professionally built setup from a company in California. It's an older kit, but nicely put together overall, not someone's hack backyard job.It does have custom exhaust that drops by the rear axle, if you are in an emissions area, we can route a pipe to the outside so it'll pass.The truck again will just need a bit of finish work to get everything 100% but it's super close.comments This is a neat truck and a great setup, feel free to call me with ?s. 720-515-5285.
