This may be the rarest truck on the planet! I purchased the truck with 5200 miles on the odometer this summer. It now has 8050 miles on the truck. Here is what makes it so rare its a 2001 MODEL! The original owner kept it parked under cover and used the truck to pull his boat. The truck had to have new tires because the original tires were dry rotted. Plastic still covers the rear door handles and radio. Replaced the speakers that were also dry rotted. This truck has the gooseneck hookup with the hidden ball. Also has the retractable bed cover. Heated leather, power everything, keyless entry. (TWO KEY FOBS). Has grille covers for cold weather. (never used). On-Star equipped. Every option available in 2001. The hood and grill are aftermarket, as is I believe the wheels. I added upgraded speakers an amp, and a reverse camera, $1,500.00. Tires, $1,450.00. This is for all practicality a brand new truck for less than half the price of a new one off the lot, and there are no emissions controls on this engine. Bought the truck with intentions of using it for my snow removal business, but decided it was to just to rare to allow salt to get on the truck. Collapse About Us The Roberts family has a longstanding history of serving the automotive needs of Middle Tennessee. It would be a long journey for the Roberts Family before they would end up at their current location in Columbia, TN. Starting in 1945; Mr. Clyde Roberts began the family business by opening a Mobil Service Station & Garage with his sons Lyndal and Bay on the corner of West Commerce and Third Avenue in Lewisburg, TN (shown below).  Shortly after the opening of the garage, Lyndal left the business to pursue other ventures. During the years of 1950-1955 the Roberts father-son team along with Stanley Thompson formed a used car business next to the old Baxter Garage on First Avenue in Lewisburg, TN. In 1956, after  Mr. Clyde's retirement, Bay Roberts formed the Roberts Motor Company out of a building at 2nd Avenue also in Lewisburg, TN (shown below).  The Roberts family, however, was not meant to stay in this location for long. Just three years after moving to 2nd Avenue, the Roberts family moved their business to 920 Verona Avenue (shown below). The building cost $12,700 and came standard with a shaded area under the tree shown below equipped with a school bus seat where many customers would be seen receiving sales consultation.(shown below) The Roberts family would keep their franchise in that location for many years and in 1971 acquired the Toyota franchise.
