Here is your chance to own my pride and joy, a 1950 Chevy 3100 out of my personal collection. The car drives great and has 232 miles on the build since the air, intake, carb, tires, gauges, shifter and more where installed. This car catches attention everywhere it goes! The car is running, driving, stopping and ready to take you wherever you want to go. Everything on this truck is fully functional (lights, gauges etc). The car lays on the ground or picks up to make tight turns. The paint I would classify as "driver" quality. It is not a $20,000 paint job but it is good enough to show off at any show or cruise as you can see from the pictures! There is no rust or damage of any kind of the frame or body. The air system is done very well and does not leak air. Below I have listed the modifications. If you have any questions, please contact me. The only reason I'm selling is to fund my other builds. Our featured 1956 Chevrolet 3100 pickup has been extensively restored and presents beautifully in the original shade of Crystal blue paint (code 734) with a 6’ stepside bed. Showing just over 10,000 miles; which is believed to be original according to the previous owner, it has been restored to a high standard and has seen only light use since completion. This was clearly a very nice truck to begin with, as evidence by the original paint on the firewall and the excellent body fit. This 3100 is fresh, exceptionally straight and ready for enjoyment. The oak bed floor has been beautifully refinished and the bed features matching custom wood rails with period-style Chevrolet signage. One of the best features of the 1956 Task Force 3100 is the gorgeous front end styling, the last year to feature the iconic egg-crate grille. Chrome plating quality on the grilles, bumpers and trim is excellent. Inside, the cab interior surfaces are finished in proper dove gray paint with a black dash panel. The seat has been reupholstered in the original pattern and color vinyl, while correct utilitarian rubber mats line the floor. The original jack is mounted in the factory location behind the seat, and this example is equipped with the optional heater mounted under the dash. This is of course a truck meant for work, so luxury is not exactly a strong suit, but it is however very correct, completely functional and a delight to drive. When it comes to working, the tried and true Thriftmaster inline six runs strong and propels this truck down the road at what is best described as a “relaxed” pace. You won’t win drag races, but you will have a ton (or a half-ton!) of fun out on the road. The 3-speed manual gearbox is operated via a column shifter, and rewards patience with a clean and smooth shifts. Brakes are very strong and handling is predictable on lovely whitewall bias-ply tires. Once up and running, the manual steering is easy to use. The refreshingly simple engine bay is exceptionally clean and very well detailed. It is clean and tidy with lots of room all around to work and nearly spotlessly clean. Function and reliability are the name of the game under the hood. The undercarriage is similarly clean, with all surfaces correctly finished and extremely well detailed. Few trucks of this era survived the rigors of work as well as this example. Most have been worked into the ground, or extensively modified. This truck survives in remarkably correct condition. Stylish and nostalgic, classic pickup trucks have a strong collector following. Thanks to the outstanding quality of this Chevrolet, it would be at home in a larger collection, or make a wonderful choice for a first time classic buyer. Charmingly simple, it is easy to use, even those new to the collector car world can quickly adapt, while more experienced collectors will feel right at home behind the wheel. While in our care, a comprehensive 108 point inspection was performed to ensure it is totally sorted and ready for use. Gorgeous to look at and a truckload of fun to drive, this is a no-disappointments Chevy truck that is ready for enjoyment.Contact Geoff Isabelle or Alex Ruozzi at 610-398-9700 for more information. At RB Collection, interesting trades are always considered.

For sale is my 1955 Chevy second series truck. The paint is decent and driver quality (20 footer), the body is extremely straight and rust-free. I can find no body filler, and the truck is from California. It has an export VIN, so I'm guessing it was exported to Mexico, as it's that solid. It was registered in California in the 80's and 90's, and was purchased about 2.5 years ago by a couple in Portland Oregon for their private collection. I bought the truck in January and it still had it's original 235 inline 6 cylinder and toploader 4 speed on the floor (three speed plus a DEEP granny low). I've since installed a brand GM Goodrich 350 crate engine with new Edelbrock intake and 600 cfm carburetor, new Pertronix Flamethrower distributor and coil, new Taylor wires, new high temp coated ram's horn manifolds, etc... It runs great, and should make about 250 horsepower and 300+ lb. ft. of torque. I reused the toploader transmission by finding the correct cast iron bellhousing, and installed a new Pioneer cast steel flywheel. As mentioned above, I can find no body filler, but there is on patch tig welded in the floor (see last picture). They typically rusted through due water accumulating under the rubber mat. I've installed carpet for a little more luxurious feel and a nicer look. The rest of the interior was already done when I bought it, and looks very nice. I removed the heater box, but it did not leak, the fan works great, and all the parts are in a box and will be included with sale. The lights, turn signals, horn, wipers, and gauges all work, but I did disconnect the ammeter and install a voltage gauge under the dash. The oak in the bed could use refinishing, and there are dents and dings inside the bed on the sides, but they're not visible outside. It also has drum brakes and the original suspension, but brakes well and steers just as you'd expect. These are not meant for slalom racing! Please call me at 724-523-2947 with any questions, or to request more pics. I DO NOT text. The truck is located near Jeannette, Pa., or about 4 miles east of PA turnpike exit 67 on US Route 30. Come take a look and make an offer. Cash talks!
