VIDEO AND MORE PICS BELOW For sale is a literal farm fresh 1962 Nova 400 4 door in Nassau Blue. This car could go either way in terms of a parts car or put it back on the road. Other than the headliner being gone its all there! I am just going to share all the information I have about the car good, bad or indifferent and will let decide. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tJR8N7s37M The car has been in Colorado its whole life and was owned by one family since 1966. The car was driven until the early 90's and it was parked behind a barn until I drug it home earlier this year. The guy I bought it from told me that it drove when they parked it. I replaced some essentials under the hood and now it starts right up, idles like a sewing machine and doesn't smoke. The brakes are the original 4 lug and don't work. They would need to be completely gone through and replaced or upgraded. The trans fluid was clean and it had a good color. I jacked up the rear end and it went in gear and the back wheels turned, but with no brakes I have not tried to drive it. Car rolls freely. Tires hold air. Unfortunately it was parked with an old battery in the trunk that leaked and caused the trunk pan bottom and the passenger quarter to rust out. The rear panel actually looks to be in good shape. Other than that area the car is pretty solid. Hit in the left quarter near the tail light. The rear bumper is bent up but the sheet metal behind it still looks to be unaffected. I have an extra bumper that is included in this sale.Left drop off is solid, Right one shot. Side swipe on drivers side, one piece of door trim missing. I may have an extra one but I will have to check. Trim is in OK condition, all four original hubcaps. Odometer shows 39,000 miles but assume its 139,000. Original radio as removed but is included with dash face plate. The grille is there but is towards the rougher side. It has tool marks and signs of being straightened... there a couple breaks in it too. Door panels are decent condition. All the windows go up and down. I do not think the front bench seat is original to the car. The car has new: spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, condenser, coil, upper/lower radiator hoses, thermostat, radiator cap, water pump, heater hoses, belt, fuel pump, rebuilt carb, battery cables, adjusted rocker arms, valve cover gasket, pcv valve, oil cap. Fresh oil with ZDDP additive and coolant too. Headlights come on. I have an open Colorado title issued in 1978.
