1988 Monte Carlo SS, T-Top, H.O 305 200-4R 4 speed automatic. factory car with motor rebuild. Most of these cars are not running at all or barley and the others have been chopped all up to fit big tires, crazy speakers...and whatever else they could butcher up. The RPO codes still under the deck/trunk lid, factory build sheet was in the door panel, New tires, oil change, tranny fluid, air filter etc Car has no issues firing right up no smoking, tranny shifts great, overdrive does not slip, rear end makes no noise , steering is tight, Car was bored 30 over, company plate on the block. Car is 27 yrs old and does need to have some metal work as just about everyone of these cars does, one outer rocker panel, behind he T-tops, needs new rubber seals etc, needs to be restored but a great start for a good price on a car that I would have no problem driving around. A four-speed automatic overdrive transmission, the Turbo Hydramatic 200-4R, with a revised sport rear axle ratio containing 3.73:1 gears became standard on the SSThe 1988 model only came with the lay-down style spoiler, unlike the 1987 model, which came with either the lay-down or stand-up type spoiler, changed side view mirrors, etc. The final G-body Monte Carlo - a silver SS coupe — was produced on December 12, 1987. Total SS production for '88 was 16,204.

Up for sale is a 1987 SS Monte Carlo Aerocoupe. Chevrolet only built 6052 of these cars. This car is very nice and is a T-Top car as well. This car has been repainted once and is in fantastic condition. The car runs and drives just as it should. The transmission shifts perfectly and there are no noises that shouldn't be there. There is no rust on this car. The quarter panels are original and it appears that everything else is as well. The only things I know that don't work on the car are the radio ( there is an aftermarket Sony stereo and CD player in the car) that could be just a fuse? and the doors that direct where the air blows when the A/C or heat are on. The A/C blows cold but it blows out of the defrost (probably a vacuum line). Could also use a set of shocks to hold the trunk open. The car looks fantastic and gets compliments wherever it goes. The original bags for the T-Tops are in the trunk as well. A $1000 dollar deposit is required upon successful purchase of this car within 24 hours and the car must be paid for within 3 days in cash in person or certified funds. 85 Chevy Monte Carlo SS White w/Burgundy interior. 350 Block/383 Crank Professionally Built Stroker Engine. Estimated 90,600 miles on odometer but new engine only has 18,000 miles. Engine was built for racing. Have original invoices on all parts for new engine. New parts put on- starter, plugs, wires, oil, radiator fluid , K & N air filter, belts, ignition switch, ignition lock cylinder, RPM, fuel, volt & oil gauge prior before put into storage. Car has been in storage about 3 years. Has tilt steering wheel, power windows, power brakes. Has cruise control but needs new actuator. Shift kit in it. Electric fan. Tinted windows. Has race cam in it, headers with stainless steel exhaust. Aluminum mag rims. All new decals on car ( Monte Carlo SS) L 60 tires all around (Since car has been in storage tires will need to be replaced-recommend to NOT drive until tires are replaced). Spare tire never used. Hayes auto repair manual. Car cover comes with car. Interior upholstery has no rips. As shown in pictures headliner needs to be replaced. Has a few minor rust spots (Will show closer pictures of rust upon request) Will need new hot battery & fresh gas to start as it has been in storage. Was running before put in storage. No A/C. I am selling my 1986 Monte Carlo SS. This car has T-Tops and gets lots of attention from younger and older admirers alike. Runs and Drives no problem. Complete New suspension - lowered 3 inches. Good handling.
