Cowl tag is there Clear Florida title in my name. The car drives fantastic, gauges work, lights work,wipers work, radio works, stops and turns nice. Stock engine and a great driver, not painted up under the hood you can do that..!!! Originally a bench seat column shift car to a now center consul shift car. The car is not a show car and there is some imperfections, and some small tears in the interior. All in all great car for the money. Rebuilt Transmission DEC of 2015; New paint, base coat clear coat; New edelbrock 650 Carburetor; new plugs, wires cap & rotor, New emblems, mirror , handles, etc New exhaust ;New radio that looks like a classic / W amp and speakers ;New shocks, breaks, tires, springs; New carpet, consul, linkage etc; New gaskets around the lights and sockets. New headliner some weather stripping replaced doors; AC blows warm all the parts are still present I have not messed with it, could even just be some of the electrical / resistors that the connections are corroded. Car is solid, had the car done and very enjoyable but it must go, not going to give it away. It would cost around 14k with parts & labor to duplicate any similar car after paying 4500-5k for the car originally. Here we have a 1972 Chevy Monte Carlo (Lived its entire life in California)Let's start with the bad... Rear bumper needs to be repaired/replaced (see pics)Passenger side lower door trim needs to be installed (which I have original pieces)Rear window trim needs installed (have original trim pieces)Needs passenger side plastic front inner fender well as tire rubbed against prior, causing to crack. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Monte Carlo comes with a 350 (Turbo-Fire) motor, 4 bbl carb 330hp (Edelbrock), and 350 transmission 3.42 posi tractionEngine has been rebuilt at some point, not exactly sure how long ago. This is a NUMBERS MATCHING 1970 Monte Carlo with the original rebuilt 350ci, 300 hp, RPO L48 engine. The vehicle looks better in the pictures than it actually is. The vehicle will need rust remediation, body work, and paint. The interior will need to be restored with the exception of the carpet and rear seat which were replaced a few years back. There is documentation all the way back to the original owner. This vehicle has been a daily driver for the seven of the last nine years. It has been sitting for the last two years but, it starts up and runs well.
