Up for auction is an all original unmolested 1964 Malibu/Chevelle with only 44K original documented miles. This is a two owner Virgina car that was garage kept and rarely driven. The car has its original 283 with a powerglide, power steering and manual drum brakes. The engine had a recent cam and intake upgrade to a stock GM four barrel manifold and Edlebrock 600 carb. The original cam,manifold, carb and air cleaner are included. The exhaust was replaced recently with duals out the back.The interior is all stock and in fantastic shape! The seats and headliner have no rips or damage and show little signs of excess wear. The carpet and door panels are in great shape as well. All the glass is in very good shape, no signs of scratches, hazing or chips. All the seals for the glass are in good shape except for the upper side glass as they are starting to dry crack.The car had one repaint which is very good condition, it was a base clear job that was done in 2001. The floors and trunk are perfect.....no rust. The only potential rust is a couple very small bubbles in the passenger door....see photos.All the chrome and stainless parts are original and in good condition, the bumpers are starting to show their age, but undamaged or bent. The tires are new and the original wheels with SS caps are in great shape. All the belts and fluids were just changes as well as a complete tune-up.....she is ready to drive and enjoy! Overall this is a very clean original unmolested car that spent the last 20 years as a local show car and weekend cruiser. The car drives great and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere! Included are the original documents from the dealer purchase in 1964. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the option to sell it to a local buyer.
