When we originally purchased this Impala from an insurance company it had light fresh water damage. Water was sucked into the air intake hydro locking the engine. We replaced the engine with one that we purchased from a local vendor with 10,000 miles on it. After installing the engine the vehicle started right up with no issues. The interior of the vehicle was damp when it arrived. It appears that the water got up to the set tracks. We pulled the interior and had it professionally cleaned and allowed it to dry over the course of a few days. This Impala now runs and drives excellent in its current condition with no issues found in the engine, transmission, suspension, cooling and/or electrical. There are no musty odors in the interior of the vehicle. Also there are no warning lights illuminated on the dash. The customer that purchased the vehicle from us drove it for about 10,000 miles and did not have a single issue.
