This car was ordered very well with Factory Air, Tinted Glass, Power Windows, Rear Antenna, Rear Speaker, Padded Dash, and of course the Air Conditioning, Muncie 4-speed and the BIG 396/325hp engine. The VIN stamping IS on the front engine pad and it does match to the VIN number. This car was originally from Minnesota and it shows, a great restoration candidate. Pretty much all the sheetmetal will need to be replaced/thoroughly patched. The frame IS rotted through in a couple small spots and has already been repaired on the front passenger side (where they all rot out). The floors will also need to be replaced and also portions of the trunk. The doors shut pretty well. On the bright side, the original engine runs VERY well. It can be used as a daily driver with a little elbow grease as long as you don't mind the condition of the body/interior and undercarriage, it really does run well and always fires up with the turn of the key. It has a new flowmaster exhaust system and it sounds great. It has like new US Royal Bias Ply Redline tires. All of the power windows work with the exception of the passegner rear, which is evident in photos. The power top also works but does need a hand when going up. The factory tachometer is still in tact. The clutch feels good and does not chatter. The AC is hooked up however it does not blow cold. It has power steering which works great. This is a wonderful project for someone looking for a rare car with excellent equipment. I do have a clear Florida title. Please check all the photos out, there are almost 100. transmission with 99K miles. This car was ordered very well with Factory Air, Tinted Glass, Power Windows, Rear Antenna, Rear Speaker, Padded Dash, and of course the Air Conditioning, Muncie 4-speed and the BIG 396/325hp engine. The VIN stamping IS on the front engine pad and it does match to the VIN number. This car was originally from Minnesota and it shows, a great restoration candidate. Pretty much all the sheetmetal will need to be replaced/thoroughly patched. The frame IS rotted through in a couple small spots and has already been repaired on the front passenger side (where they all rot out). The floors will also need to be replaced and also portions of the trunk. The doors shut pretty well. On the bright side, the original engine runs VERY well. It can be used as a daily driver with a little elbow grease as long as you don't mind the condition of the body/interior and undercarriage, it really does run well and always fires up with the turn of the key. It has a new flowmaster exhaust system and it sounds great. It has like new US Royal Bias Ply Redline tires. All of the power windows work with the exception of the passegner rear, which is evident in photos. The power top also works but does need a hand when going up. The factory tachometer is still in tact. The clutch feels good and does not chatter. The AC is hooked up however it does not blow cold. It has power steering which works great. This is a wonderful project for someone looking for a rare car with excellent equipment. I do have a clear Florida title. Please check all the photos out, there are almost 100. Here is a great opportunity to own a 50 year old car that has not been restored, still has all of its original sheet metal from the factory, is it perfect ? no. It has a little rust , a few small dents, and the paint is cracking and faded, But it is original, no one has cut it up, the doors close with very little effort, the windows all roll up and down with ease. The interior was done about a year ago, headliner, carpets, kick panels, dash, the works. all the lights work, turn signals, horn, hi and low beam, and the gas gauge. The brakes are large drum, all new wheel cylinders and shoes, it stops surprisingly well. It also has new front springs and sway bar links. The wheels are new, traditional Torque thrust D's , the bumpers are in good condition, The rockers, floors, doors, hood, and trunk lid are solid. It has rust which can be seen in the pics , mostly on the right side, it would need a lower patch on the rear quarter and front fender, the trunk is floor is pretty solid, it does have some perforation and pitting that would need to be fixed . The engine is the original 327, I have the original intake and carb, it has an aluminum 4 bbl intake and a new edelbrock 500 cfm on it , it also has true duals with Flowmaster mufflers. The car does smoke , it needs valve seal I was told, it also has the typical sbc oil leaks, no rear main, but timing cover and valve cover leaks some.
