It was previously used to do border patrol along the southern part of the country. The interior would've been insulated and cages/cargo space installed to haul passengers in custody. It's since been stripped out but still maintains the insulation and the high capacity auxiliary rear air/heat which we re-fitted, a 12v ceiling vent fan and a good deal of insulation. The van is very straight and runs/drives perfect. The GM Quigley van ride as compared with the solid axle Fords isn't even up for argument. This van maintains effectively the factory GM ride height and with the IFS front end it's just a pleasure to drive respectively. We've sold a lot of 4x4 vans over the years and these Chevys are just so hard to find. Oddly this round we were able to buy 4 at once, and will be listing them independently. The mileages and condition are all similar. We can finish out this unit with fitted vinyl interior paneling to cover everything if you want us to do it. We can also fit it with shelving or cargo racks / roof rack, etc, depending on what you need. The price is listed as it sits, basically a blank canvas for you to outfit how you need it. We were very happy with this purchase and know you'll be too. Call with ?s. exterior This van is in very good overall shape. It's mostly original and has not been in any accidents to our knowledge, but it came in with a few little dings we cleaned up. The right rear 1/4 has been painted and so have the back doors. We received it in original condition. It hasn't seen road salt so no rust. The undercarriage is dusty but dry, no leaks, no damage. The wheels are in nice shape, windshield is new, and the tires are Michelins with super deep tread, they ride great. The doors all open and close easily and seal well. There's no damage visible at all. It had some dust scratching when it came in but we buffed the van and it cleaned up for the most part. It's still a service vehicle, but definitely very presentable for something that's going to get used by the next owner anyways. interior The interior is nice and clean. It doesn't smell off, or like smoke. The upholstery is all in good shape, dash, doors, etc, just fine. The cargo space is stripped out, basically fully insulated and has some steel custom panels covering the interior rear door panels. There are no handles on the insides of these doors. If you want them re-worked with new panels and pull handles we can build that. The a/c heater unit is located at the left rear corner. It's not currently wired to the factory controls, but I believe we can get that done if you need the unit for your design. If not, we can strip out that whole unit and button everything up. All the accessories in the front of the van work fine, dash air blows nice and cold. The mirrors are manual but windows and locks are power and it has keyless. We have a few short examples of cabins we've finished out on our Facebook page if you want the interior finished out. I've posted a few shots of a Ford van we did a little while back in the pictures section of this ad. We can do custom fit padded vinyl paneling, or if you want to use this as a service van, we have a good deal of used shelving and can install ladder racks as well. mechanical This van runs and drives very well. I've put over 200 miles on it and have been quite pleased. It has the smaller 4.8 motor but moves pretty decent, I'm guessing it has pretty short gears. These IFS vans are so much nicer to drive than the Ford models, it basically just drives like a 4x4 chevy truck. The front end is tight, it shifts nice, motor sounds good, and we've had it through the shop. The oil and filter are new, brakes, belts, and hoses all good, no leaks, really the only thing to pick is the low tire pressure light is on. We don't fuss with them unless you request. This van has a few miles, but it's been fleet government maintained and should be good for many years to come. You're welcome to fly in and drive home anywhere. It has been lifted approx 3" and has nice new custom wheels with almost new tires. The van looks all original. It runs and drives great and has a freshly rebuilt transmission that comes with a 6mo/6k mile warranty for local Colorado residents. The van has not been smoked in, it's all tooled up with options and will make a great platform for a service vehicle or a custom camper van. We have a custom roof basket available for it if you like as well. This is a neat van and a great find. exterior The paint and body on this van are in very nice shape. There's no dents, no rust, hail, or body damage to speak of. It has nice gloss and looks very much original. The history reports read clean, no accidents. The wheels are new and tires have less than 500 miles on them. The windshield is in good shape, no cracks, bumpers are straight and all the doors open and close easily. Apart from some light road wear from freeway driving and a few very small superficial marks the thing is just beautiful. Note, in the photos we had not adjusted the torsion bars to raise the front end, but we've shown a picture of the van in the street after they were adjusted and the van aligned. It sits up a few inches higher and looks mean. Lastly, if you want a roof basket for it as shown in the photos on one of our previous vans, we have one in stock. The photos show it well, super sharp looking van. interior The cabin is just as nice. It smells pleasant and hasn't been smoked in. The upholstery looks great, it's well optioned, and we have the keyless clicker. Everything works well. The cargo space is a blank canvas, choose your own adventure. We do have shelving available if you would like to discuss using the van as a service vehicle. mechanical This van runs and drives perfect and needs nothing. It's a bit stiff with the 10 ply mud terrains running 80psi, but you could probably drop that down and they'd still last a long time. The van has been serviced, new oil and filter, brakes are in good shape, belt, hoses, etc, nothing needing attention. We did receive the van with a less than perfect transmission so that's been rebuilt and carries a 6,000 mile 6 month warranty for Colorado residents only. Also, the low tire pressure light is on, but I believe we have the correct sensors and should be able to get them installed/programmed. How many miles? Yes, a lot of miles. This van came from a fleet lease company that does passenger transport for railway worker employees. They run their stuff till the wheels fall off, or in this case, till the vehicle outlasts the lease. We've bought and sold these exact vans from them before with close to 500k still running. When stuff breaks, they just replace it. The van came in pretty well stock except the brush guard which we cleaned up. Then we installed a leveling kit, new 265 series tires and rims, and the roof basket. The interior has new double carpet padding and the vehicle has been well detailed. It runs and drives super nice and I suppose it if doesn't sell we may keep it, just a lot of vehicle for the money. It has jasper tags in the doors and I'm sure at lease the transfer case and transmission have been replaced once or more, at any rate, really sharp hard to find vehicle for affordable money. exterior The paint and body on this van are in good shape for the mileage, or even good shape for 150k miles. I'd like to say it's all original, it does have a clean Carfax, but I can't guarantee it with that much drive time. The doors all open and close easily and it's very quiet inside, no air noise coming through the doors. The windshield is a little pitted, no cracks, our cost is $125 to replace if you want it done. The wheels and tires have $500 miles on them, effectively new. If you rotate these mud terrains religiously they will last a long time and won't get choppy, but you have to spin them every oil change. The van is very straight with the exception of the right middle door which has creases from bumping the front door, white doesn't really show it except in the shade. Again if you want us to paint it we can. There's some wear under the rear wheels at the very rear lower rockers. The brush guard is also a bit seasoned. We trimmed it up and it looks pretty good, definitely mean. The roof basket is new. The van is pretty glossy and looks nice, I've gotten a lot of compliments on it and nobody every knows what the dash says. interior The interior is clean, again for the mileage. It has hauled a lot of people so there's some slight wear about the rear plastic panels, a small hole in the passenger seat and some aging on the carpet, but honetly not bad. We've sold a lot of 50-80k mile government AWD chevys with rougher carpet than this one. The very left rear 1/4 glass is cracked. They are double pane in these like windshields, and crack frequently, it doesn't affect anything and you can't even see it from the outside, just from the inside rear. I've priced them before and wouldn't change it if it were me, they're spendy. The van has had the interior dismantled, carpet pressure washed, stripped of the padding, hung to dry in the sun for 2 days, same with the seating, and we also ran a chlorine cleaning treatment through the interior to clean it out. It now has new double thick padding under the carpet and it's very quiet and doesn't reek. The van is well equipped and everything works, we have the keyless clicker, air blows ice cold and tire pressure sensors are fully functional. mechanical The van runs great, simply put. It has a ton of mileage on it and I can't get around that, but it's had 2 tie rods replaced and a fresh alignment, control arm ball joints are tight, steering is tight, it tracks perfect and handles well. The shocks feel decent and were checked when lift was done. The van is full time 4x4, no transfer case low range. The transmission fluid is red and it shifts easy, never missed a beat. I've driven it 500 miles. We changed the oil, filter, and the oil filter housing gasket. The pan is just a hair seepy, but not drippy or puking. There's no warning lights on the dash, nor have there been during our time with it. The brake pad life is good all the way around, diffs full, everything seems really decent for having been driven so much. The motor is also very quiet and doesn't rattle on startup like some GMs, it has good oil pressure. I'd hop in the van and drive anywhere, not afraid of the mileage, it's really a very solid rig, but yes, will be sold with no warranty unless you're a local customer then we give you 30 days / 1500 miles powertrain. comments This is a nice vehicle for the money. It's very straight bodied and well mannered on the road. The tires are excellent, it's racked up and ready for work, and has a neat fold out aluminum ramp that we can remove if you don't need it. The van has the 4.8 motor which is well suited for the city and fuel consumption. This is a great service vehicle with a very long ways to go yet. exterior The paint and body on this van are in nice shape overall and it looks original. It has a clean Carfax and there's no body rust or hail. The doors all open and close easily, windshield is free of cracks, bumpers are straight, wheels look decent and tires have what looks like new tread. The windshield does have 1 chip on the drivers side, our cost is $125 to replace if you want a new one. This is an extended model. It does have some vents on the sides from the previous usage. We can silicone them shut from the inside if you like, or if you want to spend the money we can have them welded up, smoothed, and the sides repainted. The photos document the van well. The left rear cargo door has some scratches, right front fender is worn, and there's some light creases on the passenger side panels, all pretty minimal and you can't see them in the sun. It's a work van and well kept, just not new. interior The interior is well setup. We put in new rear floor padding and wood flooring rolled with bedliner for a very durable non-skid surface. The shelving is used but service-able. The ramp is a custom foldout setup, lightweight aluminum and very easy to operate for being manual. The way it's been setup is actually remarkably quiet while going down the road. This van is very quiet on the street for a big hollow cargo van. The cabin is pretty clean, it has a few little cracks in the drivers seat but the upholstery is generally fine. The van is simple but what's there works fine, yes, air blows cold. mechanical This van runs/drives superb. It's very civilized, tracks straight for days, steering is tight and responsive and it shifts well. These Lincare vans are well serviced and we've sent them all over the country. This rig has been through our shop, it doesn't leak, doesn't smoke, fluids, brakes, belts, etc all very decent. I think the only thing we really did was change the oil and one of the evap sensors on top of the intake.
