1965 Corvette Convertible ProjectUp for sale is a 65 Corvette convertible project. The body is in pretty much complete and in good condition, it's not in primer so you can see the repairs that were made. The chassis is from a drum brake 64. The frame looks to have never been hit but will need repairs at the frame end caps that are in front of the rear tires (see frame pictures). The birdcage is in good condition, has some typical small holes in the lower inside windshield channel. What's pictured is what comes with the car. I can help locate any other parts you need for the car. Would be a nice project for a Retro-Rod or put back original. These mid-year projects are getting harder to find! The Vette is located in Cincinnati OH. Inspections are encouraged deposits are non refundable and the car is sold as is. I will help with shipping and loading. 1966 Corvette Coupe L72 – L79 – Nassau Blue – Frame Off Restored Let me start by saying, this is a Wonderfully Frame off Restored 1966 Corvette in beautiful Nassau Blue that Runs & Drives great. We would rate this a 9.5 out of 10. When we purchased this Corvette we were told that it was a Real Big Block 427/425hp Corvette, with that being said, the research we have done comes to this conclusion; has an original 6500rpm tachometer that works, original 425hp fender emblems (not on car) you can see the holes in the inner side fender where they were mounted, holes for TI Box, AZ rearend and F41 suspension (15/16 front sway bar, 7 coil front springs, 7 leaf rear springs, rear sway bar), This Corvette now has a 1967 327/350hp and a 1970 Muncie Close Ratio 4 Speed. The color is 976 Nassau Blue; the interior color was originally 414 Bright Blue which was changed to Black Leather when the restoration was done. We DO NOT have any documentation on this Corvette of any kind. We are selling this Corvette as a nicely restored 66 Corvette with a 1967 327/350hp, Muncie 4 Speed, F41 Suspension, and Black Leather Interior.
