This car is extremely original, with a long list of original parts still on or with the car. The car is running and driving. It was meticulously brought back to safe driving condition. An original 1967 Tri-Power is one of the best investment cars. Where many muscle cars have fallen off in price over the years, the 1967 Corvette 427 Tri-Power is stronger than ever. The engine sounds and runs great. The engine (original to the car) was carefully checked, oiled and pre lubricated before any attempt to turn it over. It has new plugs, correct wires, points, valve cover gaskets replaced while saving the original parts. The original carburetors were cleaned, rebuilt and restored to proper working condition! The external engine parts are original, the alternator, starter and distributor are the originals as well! Original air cleaner and distributor shielding. The brakes have been checked and serviced; remanufactured calipers and master cylinder were installed, we keeping the original parts as well.The rotors were removed and machined (for the first time). The back half of the exhaust was broken at the mufflers, so it was replaced with restoration quality parts and the old parts retained for historical purposes. The front half is still the original. The story he was told, the original owner went to the Chevrolet Dealer down the road from their house and purchased the car for their son in 67. The current owner drove the car till the early 70’s where it went into storage. The widow was dating the owner in 71 and got married in 1972. The convertible top is a tight fitting, luxurious black canvas like used on high end vehicles. The chassis is by Street Shops, modified as needed for our project. Late model Corvette suspension, front and rear. Big Corvette brakes and custom wheels made by Evod Industries, to look like the original Corvette Knock-offs. Michelin tires, adjustable QA1 coil over shocks, hydra boost power brakes and power steering! We wanted the car to look very original to the average person, but Corvette aficionados will notice the subtle details! The car sits a little lower than a stock 63, but not so low to cause problems as a daily driver and the adjust ability of the shocks makes it a great riding car on even the Northeast Ohio roads.
