1958 Chevrolet Corvette Black with Silver Coves and Red Interior Restoration in May 2014 @ West Coast Corvette(Interior, Chrome, 4 Speed Manual Added)Refresh Completed in June 2015 @ Automotive Enterprises(Complete Body Check, Remove any Scratches & Blemishes. Touch-Up Work) The chassis is straight and without flaws. The car has a "Not Hit" body and frame. May be inspected at the buyers cost at a local third party. The Corvette had a complete restoration in 1998 by my father who has since passed and left me the car. In 2014, the Interior, Chrome, electrical, and soft top needed restoration. All of which were done. In May April of 2015, small nicks and blemishes were noticed in the paint. Had car exterior completely refreshed and repainted by well known Fiberglass shop where any issues were present. My father had terrible arthritis, and could no longer shift the manual transmission, so we pulled out the transmission and put an automatic in so he could drive it until he passed. When he passed, as part of the 2014 restoration, I put the Muncie 4 Speed Transmission back in. The vehicle had a input shaft leak in the transmission (noticed a small leak during annual maintenance). I had the transmission pulled out and the gasket replaced on 04/07/2015. The timing was off. I had the timing properly set on 04/07/2015. (SET TIMING TO 10 DEG BTDC..WAS AT 18 DEG BTDC.) All spark plugs were replaced also on 04/07/2015. SPARK PLUGS AC DELCO CR43TS. Temperature results: TEMP. 180 DEG AFTER IDLE AND COMPLETELY WARMED UP The engine was compression tested during the annual maintenance. Here are the results: COMPRESSION CHECK RESULTS: #1 CYL 195#2 CYL 180#3 CYL 200#4 CYL 200#5 CYL 195 #6 CYL 185 #7 CYL 200#8 CYL 185 Also done during annual service: COMPLETE LUBRICATION SERVICEMAINTENANCE INSPECTIONCHECK BRAKES 75% F&RCHECK ALL FLUIDSCHECK BRAKES LIGHTS & HOSESCHECK/ CLEAN BATTERY TERMINALSCHECK AIR FILTER Oil was changed with no leaks.
