Mileage: 134,000 Engine: 6.0L LS2 Trans: 6 speed manual Color: Victory Red w/black interior Location: Brick Township, New Jersey GREAT MAINTENANCE HISTORY - Brand new tires, all new slotted and cross drilled brakes, 4 new wheel hubs and upgraded Z06 suspension. You will not find a better maintained C6 Corvette with a true and honest maintenance history. General Overview I purchased the car in September 2013, since then I have maintained it very well as you can see from the below Maintenance Log section, only using Royal Purple HPS 5w30 oil and never going above 2,000 RPM until the oil temp reaches 160 degrees. Mechanically, the engine has never been “opened up” and is bone stock except for the minor mods listed below. I believe the clutch was replaced around 100,000 miles, unfortunately I cannot verify. Clutch feels great! Brand new upgraded cross-drilled and slotted brakes with all 4 new wheel hubs. The entire suspension was upgraded to C6 ZO6 standards. Car handles amazing and stops better than factory. All original exhaust system (Selling NPP system separate). The car has a NJ inspection sticker, good until December 2017. The last oil change was (132K) Car is in excellent condition except as listed below; Minor accident September 2015 – Someone made an illegal left turn into the right front of the car, going 10 MPH. The right headlight and right front apron where replaced by a professional shop. (I have the receipts). Please note the shop did not re-paint the bumper or fender, so there are some minor scratches which can be seen in the pictures. SLP Underdrive Pulley – The shop I hired to replace the UD Pulley did not use the New Crank Bolt I supplied them and used the original bolt which can only be torqued once as it's a "Torque to Yield" Bolt. So if you ever wanted to do a CAM, you would have to carefully remove the Crank Bolt. The UD Pulley was replaced over 30,000 miles ago and has been completely trouble free. Power Steering Rack – There is a minor leak. It is not a problem and does not require replacement, but every 2 months or so, you have to add a few ounces of fluid to the reservoir. It’s been doing this consistently for 2 years. Key Fob – The Key Fob works but the remote entry is not working. You have to press the “unlock” button on the key to unlock the driver and passenger doors. Passenger Side Rocker Panel – It is scratched and cracked under the car. Please refer to pictures. (This can be minimized with Red-Touch-up paint) Being sold "as is", "where is", with no warranty. If you have a rating of 10 or less, please contact me prior to making an offer. **Please note I am selling SEPARATELY the pictured, NPP Catback exhaust from a 2012 Grand Sport with the “Mild-to-Wild” vacuum conversion kit which is also available for sale with the car. This was also the first year of the Cross Fire Injection 350 V-8 that produces 200 hp. 1982 wa also the first year of the 4 speed automatic transmission which this C-3 is equip with. This Corvette has been well cared for and is equip with power windows, door locks, brakes and steering. The leather interior is original and shows little to no ware, the original AM/FM/Cassette is in working order and the glass t-tops are in great shape with no scratched. New tires and brakes were recently installed and the car runs and drives nice. The original paint has nice shine to it with some cracking at the nose and bottom spoiler but without missing paint. Beautiful condition, both inside and out, this car is fully loaded and comes with every option available at the time: Navigation, Heads-Up-Display and the Z51 suspension and handling package. Never smoked in, no accidents, no paint-work. I recently upgraded to a set of new factory chrome wheels wrapped in new Goodyear run flat tires, less than 1,000 miles (not pictured). I am the original owners of this well maintained 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe 3LT. The Corvette is fun to drive and we are very sad to see it go. The Corvette has been garage kept and has never been on a race track, in bad weather or in an accident. The Jetstream Blue Metallic Tint coat color needs to be seen in person to be appreciated. I get lots of complements on the color and the car overall. The original price was $58,930 including $12,935 in options (see the window sticker in the picture catalog). Options: 3LT Preferred Equipment Group (Bose Premium Sound, Headsup display plus many more options included see Provided Windows Sticker), Magnetic Selective Ride Control which also includes the Cross Drilled Brake Rotors, Stereo Upgrade with Navigation Sat Radio, Dual Mode Exhaust optimize performance and provide a more aggressive sound, Removable Transparent roof you get the feeling of driving with the roof off, two tone seats with Corvette embroidery and the Polished Aluminum Wheels. Model Overview The Chevrolet Corvette gets more power for 2008. The new version of the standard aluminum-block V8 displaces 6.2 liters and is rated at 430 horsepower--30 horsepower more than last year's 6.0-liter engine--and 424 ft-lbs of torque. The engine gets a number of design changes, including a new intake manifold that yields a more refined sound. Matched with a six-speed manual gearbox. Top speed is now 190 mph. The added new two-mode exhaust system option is similar to that which has been offered on the Z06; it allows quiet operation during low-speed driving, but opens up to optimize performance (and provide a more aggressive sound) when needed. It also adds six horsepower. The Corvette comes with three suspension choices, which allow it to be everything from a comfortable grand-tourer to an edgy, track-ready machine. Optioned with the next up is the Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension, which uses sophisticated electronics and magnetically reactive fluid-filled dampers to provide a comfortable ride but tighten its responses when needed. Cross-drilled brake rotors, and enhanced cooling. Steering has also been revised for improved feel. The Active Handling stability control system, which allows enthusiastic driving yet can aid safety.
