Block has fresh rebuild, heads have work done, custom stepper cam, 58mm throttle body, side pipes, 10 bolt rear, 700r4 trans with 4th gear lock out, cobalt gauges, ladder bar suspension, coil overs, rear disc brakes, 3:73 gears, professional harness that was done right. I have a folder of receipts, books, catalogs, and all booklets for everything! I Also have extra go fast stuff that can go with it if the price is right : 4.11 Richmond gears, bigger 24lb injectors, corvette trans servo.. All extra parts where in at one point and the Camino ran 13.2 in the 1/4 mile, but was removed to be more street friendly. I have most of the receipts but there's at least 10k into it. No frame rot, bed is solid, as are the floors, body is very straight! I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch. Bad: clear coat sucks and is peeling, there's a rust hole in the door jam on driverside and drivers door has bad rust (but I have a replacement door). Good has a small rust hole. Everything still shuts fine. I personally don't like the exhaust setup, and it has some small exhaust leaks, but it works and looks cool. This pristine 67 Chevelle El Camino has been in my ownership since 1969. Purchased new in 67 by close friend and I acquired/begged for it in 69. Garage kept and driven as passenger car until 76 when I decided to "do a little clean-up on the motor." Twenty years later, project finished in 96. Removed and still have the original matching numbers 283 engine unrestored. Replaced with GM factory purchased 327 - 325 HP Special Hi-Performance engine package that was offered in 67. Stripped body to bare metal and refinished with many coats of GM Tuxedo Black Lacquer. Starting the refurb in 1976, all parts were easy to buy new from GM, including chrome, wiring harnesses, interior, etc, got a little carried away with things. I have original hubcaps still in GM boxes, Original wheels are in Cragar boxes. Original GM Delco Battery (yellow caps) never has had acid installed. Original chrome trim in storage in great condition, original bumpers on car. Car has been driven only 900 miles since completion within 20 mile radius on sunny days. Since completion, car has not been wet with hose or rain, hand cleaned and polished and kept under cover in controlled atmosphere garage. It has the rare tachometer that has the left blinker indicator light in the tach face. Tilt wheel. Drum brakes, GM factory air shocks as was original. I purchased it in 2011 and it had 42000 miles on the odometer The interior was extremely clean non smoking car and the original seat upholstery and trim piping is not showing signs of wear. There is slight wear on the drivers backrest but the fabric is sound. The windows were professionally tinted, since I lived in Florida (legal tint) The carpets are very good no wear at gas pedal or brake foot rest. There are no leaks and the car has been garage kept. I installed a Iroc Camaro tuned port injection and installed new valve seals in 2013, The car does not leak oil the engine is rock solid burns no oil or no smoke from the tailpipe Note, it is not a hopped up motor head project but more of a gentleman's car. The only one I have seen with these options. 348 Chevy engine Rebuilt maybe 800 mile now, 348-335 hp Tri Power engine=FE Code on engine[1960] that is what the number tell me.I have the Tri Power Off the engine but very nice .Installed on engine is a new Edelbrock Intake and 750 cfm Carb,Edelbrock air Cleaner ,Edelbrock Finned Valve Covers,The Solid lifter cam has been replaced with a Isky Hydrolic cam[510 lift & 220 Duration at .050,nice Smooth idle and some get up & go,Turbo 350 Automatic Transmission with shift kit[Rebuilt],Coys wheels 18" front 20" rear with low profile tires,Interior has been changed with what "looks" like stock seat covers and door panels & head liner,Dash board is Painted very nice I replaced the Radio with a resto AM/FM Sterio & cassette also very nice after market speakers behind seat & in dash.The car drives and runs very well,Tinted windows all Around, The Paint on the car is very nice[Candy Teal]over a light Silver base. I won a Trophy voted by the people at local car show,They loved the car and the =COLOR= The car has 2" dual exhaust out the back low rumble sound but very nice.The car has 3.36 rear gears now but I have a center section with 4.11 ready to drop in if I need to.I drive this car it is not a trailer queen and there are a few issues like the driver side power window switch works and does not work,[PIA] pain in ass. Air Condition is cold and I was told It was a original air condition car & there are air vents on the dash ,also I was told it was a factory power window car but not the wing windows they were installed..The steering wheel is from a 1961 Impals I like this wheel & left it ,some of the guages do not work I think they are not hooked up.The car=IN MY OPINION= is very nice with a few things left to do.There is a small inperfection on the hood I hope You can see it in the picture Looks like a back fire flame hit the hood[not by me].If I have forgotten to tell any thing ask and I will try to answer any questions=OH= The car has 18" front wheels & the rear has 20" wheels with loe profile tires.New soft Torneau cover =Black=.Look at the pictures.. The =[Car]= looks to be a real 348 car, Grill[Chrome] has the348 v8 flags,also has the correct 348 Radiator fan shroud and the Exhaust manifolds are cast iron,I am not saying that this is the correct Factory Engine but the numbers on this engine tell me it is a 1960 348 FE code engine..I have noticed that some one has put a 409 oil pan on this engine[DIP STICK]location on the Passenger side,I checked this is a 1960 348 engine FE Code 335 hp Tri Power Engine =and again= I have the Tri power that cane on this engine and will be sold with the car for the FULL $$$$ price.. Vehicle has a Lean and needs to be satisfied with my bank USAA who deal with veterans..This would take a few days at most and probably before the buyer makes arrangements to have the car picked up. I also have the rear center roof molding and the right rear corner molding. I will look at some Trades,Trades and cash,but it would need to be very nice.
