New traction bars!! Battery relocated to the trunk!! New Jegs starter, new Juegs flex plate. Moroso chrome valve covers and air cleaner lid! Floors, trunk and rockers are clean and solid!!! Up for sale is my 1964 Nova, 400-series, 2 door Hardtop, that has undergone some restoration, all of which is mechanical. The vehicle features a completely rebuilt, period correct, 1965 230 cu. in. 6-cylinder (L61) engine, with 155 HP. No expense was spared in reconditioning and rebuilding the engine, and it runs great, having only about 530 miles since the rebuild. The plugs and wires are new, the coil is an Accel Super Coil, and the engine is currently equipped with a Pertronix Ignitor electronic ignition. The transmission is the original Powerglide, and it shifts smoothly. This Nova has 5-lug, 14-inch wheels, and completely new front and rear brakes, including hoses (front), lines, pads, wheel cylinders, hardware kit, etc. There are only 4 miles on the brakes, as I drove the vehicle from where it was being stored, to my current residence, and it has never been put on the road, as the following minor work, or parts are needed: new driver's-side floor pan and partial rocker panel, new tires, side window (lower tracks), passenger rear quarter panel, and trunk pan. Only the tires and floor pan are needed for the vehicle to be driveable, but new front bumper brackets and a bumper are needed. More pics and a detailed description to follow. This car was originally assembled in GM's Norwood, Ohio plant as a 1965 Nova SS 8 cylinder Sport coupe 2 - door. The car has had a frame off restoration several years ago which included installing frame connectors, blocking sanding every panel to ensure straightness, dyna mat on the roof and floor and Iron Horse Blue paint. The original interior has been redone including front bucket seats, rear seat, front and rear door panels, floor carpet and headliner. The car is all original except for the motor and trans. It has a 1971 350 that has been bored 20 over with 9.5 to 1 pistons, 164cc cast iron heads with 2.02 intake and 1.94 exhaust valves with roller cam, lifters and rockers putting out 400 HP and was built and balanced by a race shop in PA. It has ceramic coated Hooker Wheel Well Headers into 3" stainless steel exhaust. The transmission is a turbo 350 with extra clutches in each gear, shift kit and 3000 stall converter along with a 3" custom aluminum drive shaft. The rear end is the original 10 bolt that has been freshened up with a eaton posi, new bearing and seals and 3.73 gears. The multi leaf springs and bushings are new and so are the Cal-Trac's. The front suspension has also been replace with a CPP(Classic Performance Products) tubular front upper and lower control arms with urethane bushings. It has also been converted to front disc brakes so the entire front end is pretty much new. This car is extremely straight with beautiful paint and interior and was put together with the best parts and done correctly. Over $34,000 invested.
