We are ecstatic to offer this 1969 Chevelle SS396 for sale. This all original, barn find was found in St. Lewis Missouri where it was stored by the original owner for 27 years. Along with the car, are all the documentation since new and the protect-o-plate. Some of the documentation includes window sticker, sales receipts, service receipts, option list order receipt, build sheet and more. Other documentations were recorded and photographed during the restoration process which captures all factory stamping on every part of the car including the internals of the transmission. This very special gem was discovered by the current owner and begun the frame off restoration where some these facts were discovered. Completely numbers matching, optional 3 speed heavy duty fully synchronized Muncie transmission (not the base trans) along with the original Muncie shifter which was ordered when new according to the sale’s option sheet, According to the body build date code (01A) translate to First week of January 1969. (Very unlikely another car with special order paint 72 came before it).
