********New 383 Stroker Motor and Performance Rebuilt TH350 Transmission.********** Up for sale is a 1981 Z28 Camaro, factory Z28, tilt wheel steering, power locks, power windows, T-tops, factory a/c but a/c was removed and a/c delete box was installed to clean up engine bay. Factory Z28 wheels with decent life left on the tires. The car has been repainted several years ago but the paint is showing its age, looks great from 20ft but up close there are imperfections which are included in the pictures. There is one minor dent on the passenger side door that is visible in one of the pictures. Inner fenders have been replaced and there are two small rust holes on the rocker panel area, one each side of the car as pictured. Frame is solid and rust free, floor pans are solid with no holes or rust, including the truck pan. The car has been garage kept and well maintained for the 7 years that I have owned it, and never driven in the snow or on salty roads. The wipers, lights, horn, defog, heat, power locks and windows all work. The power locks and windows are a bit sluggish however and have been that way since I have owned the car. The T-tops do leak some water as the weather stripping is dry and cracked, but I don't drive the car in the rain so I never bothered to replace it. The interior is in decent shape, with all gauges working and no tears in the seats. Some scratches near the rear seats. All in all, good reliable car that needs nothing to be a great driver, but don't expect a show winner. I don't hesitate to take it on long trips and daily drive it in the summer spring and fall. Love the car, but need something I can drive in the winter. Car has a lot of work done to it with details below. Receipts and service records are available. Engine: The engine is new 383 Stroker with about 6000 miles on it, amsoil synthetic used since 3000 miles. The engine runs like a beauty and does not leak a drop of oil. Makes great oil pressure, no ticks, knocks, smoke, or abnormal sounds. Gets about 18mpg highway, 13mpg city. LOTS of power, about 450hp, car is a blast to drive! The choke plate is not connected but I do have all of the hardware for it. Trans:Completely rebuilt TH350 using a transgo shift improver kit for increased line pressure and other reliability mods. The Transgo kits are the best available for the Th350. Finned aluminum pan with drain plug. All new borg warner clutches and band. B&M 2000rpm torque master converter. Shifts firm but not hard. About 5000 miles on the trans. For Sale: A very historical significant 2002 Camaro Z-28 (35th Anniversary) that was assembled on the morning of September 11, 2001, as documented by George Zaparo at GM of Canada (assembly authentication package is provided) and was one of the last few remaining production run Z-28’s to have been built by Chevy in 2001 (sold under model year 2002). This Camaro is near mint condition with only 26,641 miles. This car has never seen rain, and has always been garaged kept out of the sun with a fitted cover (included). This car is nearly loaded with what I believe to be to have most available options (with the exception of a multi-CD changer/power antenna). The car is bone stock original with the exception of a Borla Cat-back exhaust which was installed when the car was new, which really sounds terrific.
