I'm selling my high quality frame-off restored 1969 Camaro RS Z28. The restorer personally owned the car for 17 years, investing endless time and all of the highest quality materials and parts were used in this restoration. The car was always in Pennsylvania since new until I purchased it and now it’s in upstate New York. The car was a super clean all original car before it was restored. Original numbers matching drivetrain, with factory Rally Sport package with rare factory Enduro Bumper. An original factory hugger orange car with black deluxe interior. The car features it's original 302-290 horsepower V8, original M20 4-speed, original 3.73 posi-traction and chambered exhaust that sounds incredible. The paint, body fit, interior, engine bay are in excellent condition and a concours detail undercarriage. This car is a must see. 1972 RS/Z-28--43,000 original 1 owner miles!!!!This is a real Z!!! it has the L in the VIN-and has Z-28 on the trim tag-and I have documentation from new--This is a 1 owner car-I have the documentation going back to new--Including original invoice and all paperwork from new-It is not a matching # car however-He blew up the motor back in the 80's drag racing--It now has a GM crate motor -I have all receipts for this and was done at a Chevy Dealership-Including the purchase and installation of the motor--I think he paid around 6k to have this done-I have every receipt from new-I even have pictures of the car from 1972 when the car was new-Now this is a project car for someone-The biggest issue with the car is it has a soft spot on the rear frame rail behind the drivers side back tire-I have pics showing this-please see them-It isn't too bad but its there and needs repair-The rail is available from any Camaro parts company-I thought about fixing it but I wanted the new owner to see the car in its original state-Its weird as the floor pans and trunk in the car are good-and the front frame is excellent-I was told its an issue on the 70-73 Camaros--The car runs really good and is a Muncie 4 speed that is correct to the car-the car still retains its original 4:10 rear axle ratio-Yeah you can start off the line in 4th gear!-Its a true Cranberry red car-and its rare from what I have read-I was told just a 72 Z- with a 4 speed is super rare but then add the RS package with it-Not sure exactly how rare but I was told its extremely low--The car was painted a long time ago-I have the receipt-and now all the clear coat has been peeling off in places-see the pics-But the body itself is pretty darn straight-Does have some bubbling on the bottom of the one door and on the fender and part of the quarter but its just starting-please see the pics--I do have the original radio-its in the back seat-It needs to be restored or drive it as it is-The slot rims that are on the car have been on there since 1972 along with the really old Cragars and the oldest BF Goodrich tires I have ever seen!!! Never seen them that old-they are from the early 70'2--the tires on the slot rims are new--But the pictures I have of the car back in 1972 show both sets of those wheels-they are from 72-both sets!--Like I said its a true 1 owner documented 43,000 mile car!!!!!! and its a real RS/Z-28 Its as rare as they come and is a project but worth fixing!!-Please feel free to ask questions or come and see the car--This is being sold as is --please see all the pictures and ask questions--I require a $1000 deposit immediately following the auction-and full payment is due within 7 days-I can store the car until shipping is arranged but the car must be paid for immediately--Its a real deal RS Z-28-4 speed with 4:10's--
