1967 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport L30 (327 / 275 H.P.) and M20 (4 Speed) options There were 220,000 Camaros built in 1967. Camaro Research Group estimates only 7,002 total L30/M20 cars built in 1967(3%), which includes coupes, convertibles, standard Camaro, and Rally Sport Camaro. 64.4% of 1967 Camaros were Coupes. Only 29.4% of all 1967 Camaros were Rally Sport (RS) equipped. Therefore, it can be estimated that only 1,326 Camaro Coupes were L30/M20 and RS equipped (.6%). Going further, 16.5% of Camaro's were Bolero Red and only 8% of Camaro's had the red interior. Taking into consideration the engine, transmission, RS, and color options, it is estimated there were only 17 - L30/M20 RS cars built in these colors. The car is numbers matching and is documented with the original Protect-O-Plate warrantee booklet that confirms all numbers match. Engine, transmission, rear end, paint colors, seat belts, etc. all match. See worksheet below. It even has the original type T-3 headlights. The "hidden VIN" below the cowl top panel matches the VIN, title, and POP. It is a "nut and bolt" restoration and is very clean everywhere. The underneath is as clean as the top. Everything works on the car as it should. Yes, even the headlight doors operate properly. It runs and drives great. The car currently has an AM/FM cassette radio installed, but the original AM radio is included. The paint, interior, chrome, interior, glass, stainless, are all excellent. On a scale of 1-5 with a 1 being perfect and a 5 being a basket case, No car is perfect, but I would rate this car as a 1. This is a very rare car that is in excellent condition and has supporting documentation. 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Coupe Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 124377L139331 1 Chevrolet 2 Camaro 4 8 Cylinder engine 37 Coupe body 7 1967 model L Los Angeles, CA assembly plant 139331 Assembly number - early Feb 1967 Cowl Tag GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION 02A D461 ST 67-12437 LOS-21225 BODY TR 741-Z R-R PAINT W 2LGSR 3SDL 4P 5BY BODY BY FISHER 02A Body Build Date 1st week of Febuary D461 4th production day of month, 461 body built on that date ST Body Style Code 67 67 year model 12437 12 is Camaro Model, 4 is standard interior, and 37 is for Coupe LOS Los Angeles, CA Assembly plant 21225 Body Number TR Trim 741-Z Red Standard A50 Strato Bucket Seats (no headrest) - only 8% of total production R-R Red exterior color W AO2 Tinted Windshield Only 2 2nd Group Number for Options L M20 4-speed Floor Shift G D55 Console Front S U73 Antenna Manual rear R U80 Speaker Rear 3 3rd Group Number for Options S Z23 Interior Décor Group D U29 Courtesy Lamp L Z22 Rally Sport Package 4 4th Group Number of Options P L30 327/275 with 4 speed 5 5th Group Number for Options B V32 Large Rear Bumper Guards Y A39 Deluxe Seat Belts Protect-O-Plate D RR 12377L139331 C F1214MK PA0120G P S7A06 1 4 D Interior Paint - Red RR Exterior Paint - Red 12377L139331 Vehicle identification Number C Carburetor Code - Carter F1214MK Engine Assembly/Application Code matching information on engine PA0120G PA - 3.08, 0120 - January 20, G - Detroit Axle Plant, matches code on rear end P Build Month - February S7A06 Transmission Idenification Code matching code on Transmission 1 N40 - Power Steering 4 U63/U80 - AM Radio with rear speaker Engine Assem.
