Up for Sale for the very first time, please find this Custom Fabricated 1976 Chevrolet C-10 Shortbed Pickup Truck. 2-1/2 Year Professional Build of a Rust-Free Southern California vehicle, with approximately $94k into it. No shakes, no shimmies, no drips, no smoke or clatter. No disappointments, only SHOCK and AWE……. The body : has been shaved and smoothed with the drip rails removed, as well as the front and rear roll pans. The badges and doorhandles are gone, and the headlights and turn signals are hidden inside the grill. The tailgate has been smoothed and an inside latch has been installed. Rear axles are narrowed by 14", and the bed has been tubbed to accommodate Mickey Thompson 31x18.5x15 Sportsman Pro Tires. Finished with a very expensive black paint job. The frame has been welded and reinforced in C-10 problem areas, equipped with dropped spindles and springs, custom boxed lower arms, Alston 4-link, and Koni Coil-Overs. The ride is drop-dead FLAT with no body roll, and tight and precise handling. Wilwood Disc brakes throughout, with 4-Piston rears make for incredible stopping power. And , you NEED it: The motor: is a naturally aspirated 502 cubic inch GM big block, outfitted with a Demon 750cfm Carb, Edelbrock Intake, MSD Elctronics, Aeromotive fuel system, and 150hp+ Shot of Nitrous Oxide. It is linked to a pro-built Turbo 400 automatic transmission, and runs an Honest-to-God 600 horsepower on pump gas, before the nitrous shot. Power is sent is sent to the rear wheels via STRANGE internals and a FAB 9 rear end. 3" Custom Exhaust runs through Doug Thorley Headers and Flowmasters. Pipes exit to the side just before the rear wheels. The exhaust note is absolutely EVIL. This beast runs cool ALL DAY, even in Southern California traffic, and has a custom-built 5-row radiator that looks stock. PROCOMP gauges in the dash, LOUD custom installed CD player /Sound System. Factory Power Windows and gray cloth interior. The performance is, as I noted above, BRUTAL. This truck is LIGHTNING FAST, but amazingly dependable and streetable. Perfect for Showing and Racing, but dependable enough to be a daily driver. Pulling up in this truck will INSTANTLY re-write the "rule book" in your car club, town, or local cruise.
