I am selling my 1965 Chevrolet Biscayne along with some other cars I have collected and restored. This is a rust free car and has been completely redone. Everything is virtually new such as motor, transmission, brakes, brake lines, radiator, interior including new headliner, door panels, seats, weatherstripping, carpet, window fuzzies, all door and window handles. All exterior trim including emblems, door handles, bumpers, etc. has been replaced. New tires and wheels, new exhaust system, front window and the list goes on. Car has new floor pans front and rear. The engine is a new 350 with a mild cam. Should push around 350 hp. As you can see it has 427 emblem on the from fenders strictly for show. Off course you can get a crate engine and have the engine of your choice. This car can be driven cross country and have no problems as everything is new. The paint is corvette torch red and is show quality as you can see from the pictures. As you can see there are two sets of tire and wheels and the new owner can pick which set they would like. This here 1960 bel air is so fun to drive, and it lays out with full all new air ride, very fast bags, dual compressor's, large tank, 9 switches, all up or all drop, side to side or individual set up. The 283 runs perfect and is bone stock and the power glide shifts great, all lights, wipers, dome light, blinkers work, seats and carpet is very nice, (needs headliner) very good tires with many miles left, new exhaust, it has been cleared wet sanded and buffed and yes its very slick!! It does a have some rust down low starting to come thru and there is some in the trunk floor center probably from a old spare laying in there for years. there is no serious structural rust so it can be sold over sea's also. I will be posting up close of these mentioned issues in the next few days. In my opinion the car could be left alone and enjoyed just like it is, people love it. With a warmed-over 265, a traditional two-tone interior, and that beautiful two-tone paint, it retains all the original goodness with a few tweaks to make it a joy to own and drive. And this is another one of those great cars that you just couldn't build yourself for the asking price. Of the shoebox Chevys, the '56 wears two-tone paint the best. With dramatic trim that makes for the perfect natural break point, it shows off best with polarized colors such as the Sierra Gold and Adobe Beige combination on this hardtop, which is how it left the factory. The five-year-old paint looks very good over some very slick bodywork that takes no liberties with the original design and puts everything together much tighter than most of the builds you see. That trim doesn't allow much room for error when aligning the doors, and you'll note that everything is arrow straight. The shine shows off sheetmetal that was blocked and sanded and all that trim appears to have spent a lot of time under a polishing wheel. Bel Air script, beautiful bumpers (including a 1956 station wagon rear bumper), and a crisply rendered hood ornament are all evidence of careful plating work, an expense that any restorer should dread but the buyer of this car should be thrilled to see. The copper and tan interior re-creates a period feel with pleated inserts and ornate door panels. New carpets with properly bound edges suggest that someone really cared about doing this one right, and all the hard parts like the dash and window moldings have been painted with the same Sierra Gold paint as the body. The original gauges show beautiful, crisp markings and to round out the factory gear, and there's a period-style under-dash A/C unit. The original AM radio remains in the dash, although it's not hooked up and a cruiser like this deserves an upgrade. Open the trunk and you'll find a correct mat and a full-sized spare and jack assembly. The engine is a 265 cubic inch V8 which is, indeed, this car's original engine. It's a correct Power Pack setup with a 4-barrel carburetor, and it was rebuilt about 5000 miles ago. A few upgrades include the dual snorkel air cleaner, a modern alternator, and a big radiator up front, which is assisted by an electric fan to keep everything nice and cool. It has also been fitted with power steering and power front disc brakes with a dual master cylinder, so it handles and stops far better than new. The 2-speed PowerGlide automatic transmission shifts well and with 3.36 gears in the rear end, it's a fine highway cruiser that is relaxed at speed. A rumbling dual exhaust system gives it a great personality, and those 8-inch Corvette Rally wheels with 225/60/15 blackwall radials fill the fenders perfectly. A super clean Bel Air, this hardtop keeps everything that was great about the '56 Chevy and adds features that you'll appreciate today. This is a hard to find 1956 210 four door hardtop body style (NOT A BEL AIR). Purchased the vehicle in 1996 from a small used car dealer in Waco, Texas who said he had just bought it from original owner estate sale. The car has been protected in my garage since I bought it. Some minor surface rust and not dented up so not a lot of body work needed. Glass is all good, no cracks or holes. No missing parts. No missing chrome. Hood ornament not on the car in the pictures but I have it. I also have extra parts picked up at car shows. I had some dents removed and some surface rust and then primered those areas. I had the motor and transmission rebuilt (235 six cylinder) in 2007 and have put no more than 100 miles on it since then. Replaced the front and back floors; the trunk floor did not need to be replaced. Put new tires on it in 2012 and they have less than 100 miles on them. Needs paint job and new interior. The mileage show on the listing is on the rebuilt motor and transmission; the odometer was broken at the time I purchased the car. This is a sturdy car, is driveable (just needs new battery now). Because of my health I don't want to put any more into it. I also have a set of Chevy rally wheels for it (not included in price of car). My research shows that only 20,020 of this body style was made and they are hard to find.
