Hello and thanks for looking, for sale is a Very nice looking/running 1957 Chevy that really needs nothing but a new owner to take the family to cruise nights and car shows. Believe me, you'll be proud to show up in this car. Get ready for people staring and thumbs up wherever you go because you're driving one of the most iconic cars of our generation, the 1957 Chevy! Mechanically, it's as solid as they come. In the spring it went through the very strict Pennsylvania inspection and hasn't been driven much since then. In the past year we spent a little over $6,000 in improvements including, Power disc brake conversion, Flowmaster dual exhaust system, motor mounts, front shocks/springs, battery, alternator, radio, paint, front sway bar and u-joints to name a few. Everything works, lights, turn signals, power antenna, even the clock. The 350 engine and 4-speed transmission operate the way they should with no issues whatsoever. The exhaust has a really nice mellow tone thats not too loud, I think it sounds just right. The exterior is excellent including the chrome as seen in the pictures, on the 1st picture there's a little peppering on the bumper under the left parking light. The paint is smooth, straight and glossy with no damage as seen. The interior has been re-done and is very nice as well, please see photo's. Please read below, Your satisfaction is most important to me, after all you may buy this vehicle sight unseen. Please feel free to contact me from 10am-10pm at 215 485-8253 or 215 808-8448 before auctions end and I will do my best to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding this vehicle. If you're in the Philadelphia area and you wish to view this vehicle before bidding, feel free to do so if you wish. Although the odometer reads 19,131 the title is exempt, cars in Pa. older than 10 years can be exempt from mileage. I'm sure it has more than 1900 miles, I just don't know exactly. AS IS - NO WARRANTY This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. I will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Obviously, with an older car I'm sure you can always find some nit-pick stuff you'll want to do to improve it. Please be realistic, although this is a really nice car and $1000's have been spent making it this way. This is not a nut and bolt restoration, it is however an honest car that looks, runs and drives excellent. Come on by and see it for yourself or I'll be happy to do a complete walk around, I'll even climb underneath and look at anything you want and describe it to you over the phone. Payment, $500 at the end of the auction through Pay Pal. At the end of the auction, I will accept cash in person, that is the prefered method. However, I can accept bank to bank transfers. if you would would like to pay with a cashiers check it will delay your taking possession of the vehicle, it must clear with my bank, that could take a few days.
