Up for sale in our Tampa Showroom, is the return of the legend, the 2007 Shelby GT500 Super Snake. 40 years after its original build, the masterminds at SVT and Shelby came up back with this monster. Truly frightening to stand near as you fire up the engine and hit the gas, this car was built to make a point. The idea was simple, buy a 2007 Shelby GT500, then have the vehicle shipped back to Shelby American, when the car returned to you, it came equipped with a mountain of new features, including custom badging, to show off the new Super Snake logo, an aluminum driveshaft, which reduced overall turning mass. This was necessary to make the tremendous horsepower more efficient. Also included in the package was 6-piston Baer Brakes, new brake cooling ducts, and to match, a set of custom 20\" Alcoa Wheels. The aesthetics were increased to make the car unmistakable in a lineup, including carbon fiber chin spoiler, side skirts and mirrors. The best part of the package however, exists under the hood. A 5.4L V8 was rated at 605 horsepower before it left the dealership, after Shelby American tuned and fitted the engine with a Kenne Bell supercharger, the car came back to it\'s owner boasting over 725 horsepower. The best part is, that this car comes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, complete with a powerful clutch that won\'t allow you to slip gears when you shift through them at breakneck speeds. The exterior is painted in a low-production code called \"Alloy\", which with its black stripe running down the center, has a very aggressive look to it. Inside, the car is adorned with lush Leather Interior, with the Super Snake logo stitched into each seat. The Super Snake gauge cluster sits on top of the dashboard, giving you every piece of information you may need while driving this car during race conditions. Driving a Super Snake is not like anything else you have ever driven, from the whistle of the supercharger as you accelerate, to the amazing control you are given over the car.
