Matching numbers, 1947 Pontiac Streamliner with 96,326 original miles on it's original flat head, straight six engine. It is a very original car. It underwent an older restoration in which the original colors (Metallic Mariner Blue and Silver wing Grey) were used. The interior was done in a dark grey fabric as per the original. The chrome has some surface rust, while it's steel body is very solid with no rust. Mechanically it is 100% original. Runs and drives well.

In 1941 the Pontiac line was referred to as %26acirc;??Torpedo%26acirc;? and had a unique style different than any other General Motors car of the time. The Torpedo Streamliner was void of running boards and later models had %26acirc;??Blackout%26acirc;? trim with all of the formerly chrome trim being changed to Duco Gun Metal Gray.
