longdogcustoms store This is a 1991 Firebird Formula. It has just gone thru a full restoration from top to bottom. It has a custom fourth generation style hood with real Ram Air induction system. It has greatly improved not only horsepower but fuel mileage as well. There was so much done that I will try to list everything but I am more than sure I will forget some stuff. The engine was taken down to the block and had a full top end rebuild. Replaced: Valve Gaskets EGR Valve Distributor Ignition Coil Distributor Cap Plugs Wires PCV Valve Serpentine Belt Idler Belt Pulley Breather Filter Canister Filter Alternator Vacuum Lines Hoses Air Charge Temp Unit New Duracell Battery Installed a battery shut off switch on the negative terminal so that you can show the car off at shows without draining the battery. Also great for parking her for extended periods without putting any drain on the battery. Air cleaner was blasted and repainted in chassis black gloss paint. The new Ram Air induction system forces cool air into the TBI induction to create power. Both headlamp motors were taken apart and rebuilt with new brushings. Fuel system was completely redone. The fuel tank was dropped and entire system was drained / pressure cleaned. Replaced with completely new TBI Unit. Replaced: TBI Assembly TBI Dual Injectors Fuel Pump Fuel Sending Unit Fuel Filter Rubber Fuel Lines Metal Line Fittings Completely new cooling system. They were all mounted and balanced. Has four center wheel Firebird logo trim caps All wheels have correct lugs with black trim caps. Completely new weather strips in the following locations: I had a professional auto glass installer come out and set in a new windshield. The old one had a chip and we felt full replacement was far better then any repair. It was fully tested for leaks prior to paint. Its the only time the car has seen water on it. T-Top Hatch Drip Edge Complete Door Weatherstrip Outer Door Glass Weatherstrip Inner Door Weatherstrip Lower Door Weather Strip The interior is fully restored. Once it was gutted out we sealed the floors on both sides and did the entire floor section in thermo sealing insulation wrap. This helps keep the interior quieter as well as cooler.
