I am selling my beautiful 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT. I've owned this car for a little over a year. I bought it from a dealer, who bought it from the original owner that had it stored for years.
This is a RARE unmolested car. No big modifications that can't be put back to original in minutes. No ground effects, no custom wheels, no suspension chops. The only upgrades are listed below, and the originals are included.
I am asking $5000 obo.

110,xxx miles
Clean CA title
I purchased this car from a dealer a year ago. There was only one original owner prior to the dealer and myself. The majority of miles were put on during the first 10 years of life, after that it was stored and driven only a few hundred miles a year. It has a clean Carfax. Never smoked in, no stains, always garaged.
The car was repainted sometime recently, matching the original paint scheme. I would rate the paint at an 8.5/10. There are a couple of minor scuffs and tiny scratches. Even the underside of the hood (bonnet) and trunk (engine) deck lids were repainted gloss black.
As for maintenance and upgrades:
New brakes, including new rear calipers.
Rodney Dickman Competition Short-Throw shifter (I will include the original with the car).
New EGR valve.
New Alternator
New front bearings
Brand New Battery, with warranty.
7" flip-out motorized DVD player with Bluetooth (works very well), with rear camera input (no camera). I have the original radio if you wish to have it, but it barely worked, which is why I replaced it.
TLG-Auto® Clear front turn signal/marker lights with clear/amber "Switchback" LEDs. Demo of the led bulb: http://i.imgur.com/LnGrrxZ.gif
Spintech Muffler (sounds so sweet)
I will include a set of front suspension polyurethane bushings that I never had the chance to install, along with a 160 degree thermostat that is not installed. I was going to also put in a 160 degree fan switch, but never got around to ordering it.
Everything on the car works very well, engine is powerful and the Spintech muffler sounds amazing.
Car cover included. Protect your car!
The things that aren't perfect:
One tiny hole (1/16") in the driver's seat. Not sure from what, it was there when I bought it.
The factory defect with the temp gauge wiring was never corrected meaning the gauge doesn't work. But is an easy fix. See: http://www.fierosails.com/tempgage.html
It's a 27 year old car. Minor things will crop up I'm sure. But when something does happen, you have a great resource in Pennock's Fiero Forum: http://www.fiero.nl/cgi-bin/fiero/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro where every Fiero owner talks and learns everything about the Pontiac Fiero.
I've changed the oil only 3 times since I've owned it, that's how little I have driven it. I've always used Mobil 1 synthetic.
The car is clean, never smoked in, drives excellent, and is a blast to drive. I've had it up to 115 mph, and it's very stable. Off the line it's one fast beast.
I had knee surgery and can't handle a clutch in traffic anymore.
I'm asking $5000, or best offer. I know what NADA says, and please don't pull KBB, KBB doesn't go back that far. This isn't a cheap beat-up car. This is for an enthusiast, collector or someone who knows how hard it is to find a great example of this car. This was my childhood dream-car, and I'm sure it was yours too. Isn't it time you finally had one?
Email me for more information. I will not respond to ambiguous emails (just saying "call me") because I've been contacted by too many scammers. So please, be specific in your email. Ask a question, ask when you may see it, reference the car directly. . . make sure you put something in your email that tells me you actually read the ad. The car is in North San Diego county.
