Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Up for sale is a super rare first year numbers matching 1964 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser Custom Series 9-passenger wagon with factory air! Some of its newer or notable points include:Dual exhaust all the way out to the rear.Very expensive gel batteryEngine has been chromed out with period Mickey Thompson valve covers and a chrome air cleaner. Also new chrome alternator. It’s just been completely tuned and serviced and runs like a top! The transmission shifts correctly and doesn’t leak fluid, or the motor oil for that matter. The factory air components are all hooked up, but it needs a shot of Freon. The interior is mostly original and does show some wear and tear (patina). The front seat has been reupholstered in the original design and color. The dash pad has been replaced at some point and is in decent condition. Has a new gas gauge that works. All lights, horn, ORIGINAL RADIO, turn signals, wipers, heater, etc. work with a new antenna. Brand new tires and a set of American Racing wheels with less than 50 miles on them! New shocks and brakes Rear tailgate has power window that works and the gate functions properly. Just repainted in its original color of Provincial WhiteRear two seats all fold down for hauling, which is a really nice feature. It’s got some rust in the usual Vista places (quarters, rockers, around the windows, etc.) and the upper glass will need some repair work (no leaks though), but it does have all the original sheet metal, floor pans, quarter panels, etc. It’s got quite a bit of potential and makes a nice appearance as you can see in the pictures especially as a driver, which is what we've used it for. Not a show car, more of a go car. According to the previous owner, it was owned before him by an Olds mechanic of 30 years, which is why it is so well-maintained mechanically. The odometer shows ~81,000 miles, but the drivetrain has less on it. It’s one of 7000 built originally in the top of the line Custom series, making it a rare wagon with so many factory options! All in all, it is a running working wagon and a fantastic example of a rare 3-seat Vista Cruiser survivor from the first year. My Dad did a lot of general maintenance, detail-work, etc. over the last 3 months. We have a clear Ohio title with no liens. Below is a break-down of the VIN and Trim Tag along with the NADA book value and some additional pictures. This vehicle is over 52 years old and is being sold AS-IS with NO guarantees expressed or implied. We are not responsible for shipping, the buyer will need to make arrangements, we will help load. We are open for pick-up times due to my father being retired. Please feel free to contact us if you'd like to schedule an appointment to view the Cruiser in person. Hello, Im selling my 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass S rare 2-Door F85 model. Clean California title and current California registration . It runs great. Has a 350 rocket motor that has been gone through and has all new gaskets, does not leak one drop of oil. It has Olds Rallys with BFG white letter tires with tons of tread left. there almost new. It has duel Flowmaster exhaust that sounds incredible, extra deep. The paint job in my opinion looks pretty good but, it's not show car quality paint job, its only mediocre. the pant is a couple years old and has some scratches, scrapes, chips, and other imperfections, but as I stated before in my opinion it looks good. 1967 Oldsmobile F85 $12,750 48-year-old car showing only 27,000 miles! This car is “Time Capsule” representations to what was available in a “bare bones” vehicle in 1967. No V8, no automatic, no radio, no power steering, brakes or windows. This can be driven daily, cruised on weekends, or added to your collection. There are certainly very, very few cars approaching 50-years-old that have this few miles and are in such good shape. Original wheels, radial tires and wheel covers come with car or can replace mags with a $750 reduction in price. Engine: 250 cu. in. incline 6 cylinders. Starts up at first twist of the key, runs smooth and has enough power to comfortably get onto highway and cruise at 70mph+ all day long. Transmission: Fully synchronized 3-speed column shifted trans that is smooth as silk. Has no issues and can even be down shifted into first gear while moving. Rear 12 bolt rear end. This very basic, low horsepower “economy car” is equipped with the Olds 12 bolt rear end. Interior: Bench seats, front and back seat, are like new, the headliner and door panels are flawless, and the floor mat is in excellent shape. Exterior: Body is in very good condition. There has been one repaint in original color (when racing stripes were added). This Oklahoma car has absolutely no rust, the glass is perfect and the chrome is in excellent condition. There is one dented area in the passenger rear quarter panel, which is shown in the pictures. Please no tire-kickers or low-ballers. This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time. Please call to set a time to take a look at this fantastic car! Mark, 913-645-3210

The Rallye 350 is a rare car to begin with, but this one is 1 of 160 F85 2-door sedans! This is a one-year only model, and built as a powerful and flashy muscle car that would fly under the radar of the insurance companies back in the 70’s. This car represents exactly how they rolled off the assembly line with the exception of the fact that this motor is not original. This Olds currently features an upgraded 403 Oldsmobile engine, but does retain the correct High performance ‘6’ code heads, correct intake, exhaust manifolds and Ram-Air equipment that is completely intact and functional. For the purist out there; I have a 1970 Oldsmobile Rocket 350 that would be the correct block for this car sitting in my shop that could be included in the sale. The original Turbohydromatic transmission has been completely rebuilt and shifts perfectly. The car also retains the original 12-bolt rear end. The exterior paint in stunning, and laid in a highly professional base coat / clear coat. All the correct striping along with the rear wing, Ram Air hood and color coded wheels with no trim rings are all restored in near perfect shape. The interior is in excellent shape. Virtually no wear on any of the vinyl surfaces to be found. The dash is intact and completely free of cracks or weather-checking. The rear package tray is in perfect condition. The heater controls show a little discoloration, but nothing to get upset about. All the gauges and lights work exactly the way they should. This rare muscle car also features items such as: - Power disc brakes - Power steering - W25 fiberglass hood - N34 Sport Steering wheel - D35 Sport Mirrors - FE2 Rallye Suspension - M10 Dual Exhaust - W35 Rear Deck Spoiler This is a high-quality restoration of an already super-rare car. Available is a 1964 Oldsmobile F85 Cutlass convertible in terrific shape. The original engine has been replaced with a 455 c.i.d. Oldsmobile big block which produces around 500hp and runs strong. Previous owner had it built with Nitrous which hasn’t seen much use, but sure gets the WOW factor at car shows when people spot it. Transmission is auto; Turbomatic 350, and the car has had a few upgrades such as disc brake conversion in front, 12 bolt posi-traction rear end with 3.73 gears, headers and exhaust, B&M shifter, and custom stereo system. The Cutlass had a fairly thorough restoration in 2009 with new paint/interior, new windshield glass, and has been running perfect since; the top was replaced 3 years ago and is in great condition, and there are no areas of corrosion. The Cutlass is originally a California car and still has its black plates; I purchased in 2005 from a Palm Springs owner so it’s been in a very dry climate, and has always been garaged since I've owned it. Original equipment includes power steering, power brakes, power top (non-operational), original Air Conditioning car (non-operational), and the desirable F85 options to complete the package for a truly fun to drive classic car. I’ve got all receipts (over $40k worth) and more pictures upon request so please feel free to ask any questions and bid with confidence, I’ve got perfect feedback and this is an amazing example of American muscle. Vehicle is for sale locally and listing is subject to early withdrawal if a transaction occurs before the end of advertisement period. Immediate deposit of $500 is required with the remaining funds due within 5 days of winning bid acceptance please

We can't seem to keep cars like this 1964 Oldsmobile F85 hardtop in stock. Perhaps it's the combination of luxury and performance that appeals to buyers, or maybe the handsome yet restrained good looks. Either way, you're getting a heck of a lot of car for not a lot of cash when you shop for a Rocket. In the early days of the horsepower wars, the F85 was designed to appeal to the younger Oldsmobile buyer, and it did so with a classic combination of a mid-sized body and a stout V8 engine. The same platform that underpins the other GM intermediates works just as well here, giving the F85 clean lines and a sleek overall look. Repainted a few years ago after long-term ownership in a single family (more than 50 years!), it enjoyed a color change from Jade Green to bright red, and the choice was a good one. No longer a wallflower, this F85 now looks the part of a '60s performer. All the trim was pulled and polished while the paint was being done and the looks is just about ideal without any extraneous brightwork to detract from the purposeful vibe this Olds gives off. The bodywork was taken down to bare metal for the respray, and with a wet sand and buff could probably be taken up a notch or two, but even as it sits, this car gets attention just because it's not the usual Pontiac or Chevy. Bright white vinyl upholstery is an awesome contrast to the red paint and the all-new interior is the jewel in this car's crown. Buckets with a column shifter seems unusual, but for Oldsmobile it was pretty common and neatly balances sport and luxury. Fresh door panels complement the seats and with black carpets it has a dignified look that's still low maintenance. The steering wheel is a wonderfully ornate piece that's in fantastic condition and you might note that the speedometer has additional markings to compensate for the TH350 3-speed automatic transmission that was swapped in place of the PowerGlide 2-speed. There are also auxiliary gauges tucked under the dash and a modern AM/FM stereo head unit, so it's contemporary and ready to cruise. The back seat is big enough for real-sized adults and the massive trunk offers a correct mat and a full-sized spare with its own cover. Oldsmobile's 330 cubic inch was all about torque and moves the relatively light F85 with real gusto. It was rebuilt to stock specs just recently and runs superbly with a unique V8 sound that should be familiar to Oldsmobile guys. The gold engine and red air cleaner are correct and proper reproduction decals were used wherever they were needed. Power steering and power brakes work with the automatic transmission to convey that easy driving style Oldsmobile cultivated with its buyers and it pulls well through all three gears. The single exhaust sounds muffled and appropriate for the big coupe and there's a new gas tank hanging out back. Familiar Oldsmobile Rally II wheels are color-matched to the body and now carry fresh 14-inch blackwall radials. Complete with the original warranty card and owner's manual, this is a cool cruiser with an unusual look and a great history that's ready to rock today. GM's upscale compact the 1962 Oldsmobile Cutlass F85, was one of the most technologically-advanced engines of the 60's, 215 cubic inch all-aluminum V8. Options include: positraction, power windows, air conditioning (needs to be put back in the engine compartment), original 4 speed T-10 transmission. The 4-sp inver very scarce and desirable, because it had only a two month production run for the 1962 Model and it is a lot better than the nomal lame automatic. I think the car has been painted once, the innards (door jambs trunk, etc) look to be all original paint. The car runs fantastic, a small car, but offers big car comfort and performance on the highway. Good history behind this car, I bought it from a man that told me he bought from the original owner in Florida. Body:The car is a solid Florida car, very clean underbody. All the trim is there and in good condition. The paint looks good but has minor chips and scratches. Floors and trunk look great and are rust free and solid, the original positraction trunk label? Very minor rust spots on the bottom of the wheel wells. Interior:The interior is unrestored completely original, except replacement carpets, protected by aftermarket floor mats, and despite being a "compact" there's plenty of room for everyone. 4 new 13" tires. Factory Tach gauge on the Factory Console works perfectly. All power windows the Original Radio was converted to AM-FM with an iPod plug by S&M Electro-Tech and Alpine amp and speakers. A set of 60's style Chrome add-on gauges, all work. A full size set of extra wheel covers and two extra factory tachs. Engine:The drive line, trans, differential have been all rebuilt and the engine was rebuilt by D&D Fabrications to dyno in at the flywheel to a streetable 244HP. Dan LaGrou of D&D spent 23 years in engine and chassis development at General Motors specializing in aluminum engines before he started D&D. The engine has been balanced and blue printed, I have the Spec sheets. It has a Gener-Nator (replaces the generator); assembled with brand new high quality parts and stainless steel hardware. The measurements are all of original standards thus allowing it to be mounted on the original brackets. A Gener-Nator will maintain and keep the battery in a fully charged state; provide the power you need for all your accessories as well as the ones you add on; control the voltage for optimum performance and not have you continuously worrying about you battery. It is NOT an alternator machined down and then stuffed inside a generator case. It is, a very sophisticated piece of electrical to look stock and do the job of a modern alternator. Best of all, when you look under the hood, you see a generator not a modern looking alternator. It also has an original looking Delco Battery from Antique Auto Battery of Ohio, with original re-po battery cables. This small 215 cubic inch V8 is a primo rebuild by Mark and Dan LaGrou. This is my pet little car and it is not perfect, I've owned four of these cars and this one has been my favorite. It still needs some things done to it to be finished. It needs the air conditioner parts put back in the engine compartment. I sent all the AC parts to Antique Air Products in Fort Worth Texas and they rebuilt everything for me. I put the maximum rows in the original A.C. Harrison radiator for maximum cooling. That decreased clearance between the radiator and the grill and made the original condenser is too big to fit in the front of the radiator and it needs to be adapted to a modern smaller condenser that has a lot more efficiency than the old one. It isn't visible behind the grill anyway. I spared no expense (I have $29,000 in receipts) This car has had nothing but the best and I made every effort to keep the look and integrity of a 1962 car. No guarantees or warrantees, as is !! I would like to sell this car to someone who has seen and driven the car in person in Las Vegas. Go for a ride in my Jetfire, copy and paste-- Jetfire10 Johnson--on YouTube-- for the car I built a few years ago; same type car except that it had a turbo, and this F-85 Cutlass has more horsepower.
