This truck runs & drives as good as new. Has been extremely well taken care of. Still has original owner's manuals in the glove box. EVERYTHING works on this truck as it should. I would not hesitate to go to California right now in this truck. It would be very hard to find another truck in this condition. If you know anything about these Nissans, you know they go on forever. There are scratches/paint chips/dents on this truck, but the body/frame is straight and solid. The 4-wheel drive system has auto-locking hubs - works great and has no issues. This truck can handle snow and ice like a boss.215,000 miles on the factory engine, so it has got many miles left to go! I just drove it 6000 miles round-trip to Texas and it ran like a top. 1997 Nissan Pickup D21 King Cab

Hi Everyone, I have for sale my 1997 Nissan Pickup. It has 218K on the clock but don't let the mileage fool you. I replaced the engine and I did a partial rebuild (new piston rings, valve guide seals, head gasket, timing chain kit and water pump). All the fluids have been changed, the radiator was replaced last year, both upper and lower radiator hoses were replaced and the tires have plenty of tread on them. This is a great work horse and reliable truck. As you'll see in the pictures, the body is in great shape for its age with the exception of 2 dents some scratches. The frame has no rot anywhere which is rare for these trucks. The interior is in good shape and the bed liner was replaced about 2 years ago. I bought the truck with 207K so I only put about 11K in about 3 years and has been well maintained. When I bought the truck, it had a hood in primer which was rusty so I got another hood and had it painted. Also, I added aftermarket power door locks and power windows, replaced the shocks all around, the alternator and both Oxygen sensors. There is no Check Engine light or codes. I would say that this is one of the nicer nissan pickups left but it's not the best. I'd give it a B+. The transmission gear oil was changed as well as the differential gear oil. I installed the harness for a trailer hitch with a 1 7/8" ball on the bumper. The rear leaf spring bushings were replaced about 3 years ago with the neoprene style bushings. The tires were replaced a few months before I bought the truck according to the previous owner. The clutch has 3 years of use since I replaced the engine and I didn't put much mileage on it. The Starter was replaced almost 2 years ago. The outer skin of the muffler is rotting off but no exhaust leak. Looks like the original Nissan assembly. The front brake pads are a bit less than half way worn so I'm installing new brake pads. Rear brakes are OK. A/C - Heater works and it has cruise control that works (to my amazement). I noticed 2 days ago that the paint at the rear wheel opening on the bed on both sides is starting to bubble and the front bumper has a dent where the plate goes which you can see in the first picture. I'm an Automotive Mechanic 30 years in the business so my vehicles are very well maintained. For those of you that are worried about the mileage, if you consider that the engine was partially rebuilt 11k ago, the clutch has 11k on it, the tires are relatively new, all fluids are changed (that means all engine fluids, transmission, rear differential, power steering and brake) and the engine has synthetic oil, the drive belts are relatively new, alternator was replaced, radiator was replaced, upper and lower hoses replaced, shocks all around, leaf spring bushings and both oxygen sensors then the mileage should not be that much of a concern. If I were living down south, I would never sell this truck. It runs and feels better than the truck I replaced it with that is the identical truck except that it's 4WD. The Truck is located in Bay Shore, Long Island, New York. I'm putting this truck up for sale "as is" with no warranty issued or implied.
