1989 Chrysler Conquest with a 2jzge TURBO. This car is relatively clean, smooth and fast. It has a 2jzge engine with a 60-1 MasterPower turbo. The engine has ARP head studs, custom intake manifold, Coil On Plug and T4 exhaust manifold. I have twin Bosch 044 fuel pumps and 83 lb/prhr fuel injectors and custom fuel lines and fuel rail. The transmission is a FTI fully built turbo 400 and custom torque converter. It is full manual with a stage 3 shift kit that barks the rear tires real hard on the 1-2 shift. B&M pro ratchet shifter and custom driveshaft. Factory fuel tank has been sumped to accommodate the feeding of the twin pumps. Interior is black leather seats that are in fairly good shape with a maroon roof liner. Battery relocated to trunk. Over a 100+ hours invested in the swap. Let me know of any questions you may have. Odometer had 120461 miles when swap was done.

Up for sale or trade is a Mitsubishi station with a late model 1jz and the very rare tripod type shifter r154 5 speed trans swapped in it. The late model 1jz and r154 in this car is worth about 3k alone. Those transmissions bring alot of money. It is not the standard mk3 supra r154.* I'm asking 3800 for the car and just the engine and trans is worth 3k. Let alone all the other high dollar parts. Stainless braided lines for power steering, fuel lines etc add up really quickly!!! Very important is the car has ZERO rust, other than surface scaling. No major rot anywhere. These cars are notorious for rotting badly and this car was saved, por15 and thorough restoration was done before. Then someone backed into the nose and that's why the front end is not pretty. It is straight and rust free just needs to be repainted. The paint lifted off the rear spoiler in a couple spots. Body is nice and straight but needs paint. From the accident up front there is some evidence of it still on the rad support and in the front corner under the hood. Car drove straight but you can see it. Quick list of parts - 4 core supra aluminum rad with two - 12 inch fans with custom aluminum shroud - Big front mount intercooler with tial blow off valve on the cold side - Brand new tires all the way around - over 700$ worth of custom gauges from speedhut installed in the stock dash looks amazing. With GPS based Speedo to solve the issue of getting the Speedo to work with Toyota trans. - Wahlbro 255 pump Lots of money and time into this car. Needs to be finished. I have easily triple what I'm asking into the car let alone the countless hours of getting it this far. ******Things it needs******* Find a short in the electrical, Exhaust, Finish the vacuum lines. Wire in the gauges, Wire in the alternator, Its been sitting for three years unfinished so it needs a basic tune up. It will also need things as you finish it. Once you get further you will be crossing new problems that I haven’t come to. You will need to sort these out. It does start and run but runs rough. Needs to be trailered out of here. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a 1980’s Oddball Mitsubishi with a 1990’s Japan Only Market Engine and transmission shoehorned inside of it. This is not a Toyota Camry. Absolutely no warranty is expressed, implied, or even hinted at. I am not hiding anything it is just the nature of these types of cars. Your local Pep Boys wont be able to find you parts for it.

Thanks for looking. Long Island Exports is proud to present this super rare 1985 All Original Mitsubishi Starion Turbo ! This particular Starion is Automatic transmission. Being a 1985, it qualifies for Historic plates. This car was owned by a woman and driven on the weekends. The car has very low mileage for a 30 year old car. It averaged 166 miles per MONTH. That means the owner filled this car up once every 3 months ! The paint is in very good condition. The car drives very well. All the buttons work. The transmission is smooth, the engine is strong. There are no creaks from the door hinges, and i did not notice rust. There are no error lights on. The interior is extremely clean. The seats are not torn. The floor mats are clean ! Best of all it has a clean title. Something to note, there is a little cosmetic damage on the driver side bumper. Also, the car has a rough idle when its warmed up.Its like a sputter. Not sure what it is. I would suggest getting it checked out before committing the car to road duty. This is a special car, as it is extremely clean and rare. Back in its day this was the hottest sports car from Japan. Please contact us with any questions. We also ask that you contact us before clicking 'buy it now'.

The History: Up for sale is my Shetland Beige 87 Chrysler Conquest TSi. Book of service records dating back to original sale, not to mention owner's manual and factory service manuals. Most work claimed by previous owner is documented. Originally a North Carolina car, then brought out to California. I've had the car for only about a year, and have barely driven it except to keep the fluids flowing. Ended up having no time to give it the attention it deserves, unfortunately. Now I'm moving and have no place to park it among my other 3 cars. The Good: - Unique, gorgeous, and drives competently (except for Service Opportunities) - Clean title, 110k original miles - Just about everything works - No rust - Hard turbo plumbing and BOV - New Mitsubishi 17C turbo - New primary & secondary injectors - New struts - New clutch (undocumented in service records, though) - New tires - 1989 ECU (it got better each year...89 is the cream of the crop) - Assorted little items...fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, axle shaft, etc. - Some brand new wear item parts will come with the car Service Opportunities: - All 3 cooling fans seem to have quit recently. Very high probability it's either the fan relay or thermosensors (2x at $35 each). MUST remedy that before you drive much stop 'n' go in the sun - 1995 paintjob is sun damaged. Paint chunked off the spoiler. Leather dry and stitching coming loose. - Low RPM cold start idle, fine when warmed up - Heater core failed and needed to be bypassed. Another core comes with the car, but installation will be time-intensive. - A/C undiagnosed. It's gonna need more than a charge. - Rear end clunk when shifting. Torque tube U-joints are a common culprit. - Little things...horn quit working on me, suspension squeaks, tilt steering wheel lock gets loose, etc.

They're usually cars with high sticker prices that depreciated quickly, like the Mercedes SL. Porsche's 944 is another: everywhere on Craigslist for $5000 with worn paint and not running, spectacular specimens are few and far between. This car is one of the exceptions, with a nice service history, good cosmetics, and only 69,575 original miles. Study this car's lines, and consider its contemporaries: The 300ZX, the RX-7, the Mitsubishi Starion...and notice how relevant the 944 still is today. There aren't any tacky add-ons, the wheels are nicely placed in their wheel wells, and the shape is surprisingly contemporary. As for condition, the burgundy finish has been repainted at some point and looks great, giving Porsche's wedge-shaped sports car an elegant look that disguises its intentions. It's not perfect, of course, but you don't see cars this nice very often and Porsche's build quality stands out with the deep shine and good panel gaps. The taillights are a deep red, indicating proper storage indoors and the rear hatch hasn't de-laminated (a common 944 issue). Even today, folks will look at this car and assume that it costs thousands more than it does. Inside, you'll be amazed at the amount of room up front. The rear seats can handle medium-sized kids for short trips, but put the fronts all the way back and six footers can stretch their legs out straight. There's even helmet room should you decide that autocrossing or doing track days is in your future. An AM/FM/cassette Blaupunkt looks to be original equipment, since Porsche was only offering tape decks in 1987. The original steering wheel has a thick leather covering that matches the interior and shows only modest signs of use but no dryness or cracking. The upholstery is burgundy leather with grippy cloth inserts all in great condition and matching the exterior. The shifter boot shows some wear, but otherwise the interior remains in first class condition and remarkably, the center console is in perfect shape with no extra holes, since many original owners had car phones installed. In back, the hatch area is fully carpeted and doesn't show fading, a remarkable feat given the red carpets. And while you're back there, check out the original tool kit, air compressor, spare tire, and jack set, extras that rarely survived the years, especially in such great shape. Under the hood is nothing but good news. The 944's 2.5 liter all-aluminum four cylinder has timing belts, and it's bad news when they fail. The good news is that this car's belts were done recently, so it's ready to rock. Properly maintained, these engines will run for hundreds of thousands of miles, and this one is a good one with a smooth idle and plenty of torque from the rather large displacement. The engine bay looks like someone cared about maintenance and while it appears complex, you'll find that taking care of a 944 isn't all that difficult. The undercarriage is dry, dry, dry and with just under 70,000 actual miles on the clock this 944 feels years younger thanks to solid engineering and the entire package feels a lot more contemporary than you'd expect. The wheels are proper 15x7 "phone dial" aluminum pieces surrounded by correctly-sized 215/60/15 Pirelli P4000 radials. The 944 is forgiving for beginners and a real treat for seasoned drivers. A slick-shifting transmission, great steering, nimble power, amazing build quality and classic lines adds up to a truly great package. 1982 Alfa Romeo GTV6, California car, second owner. I have owned this car for 22 years, and it has been the best car I have ever owned. It was a second, weekend driver. I bought it from the original owner in 1992 in Cupertino. One of the best Bay Area Alfa shops, Richard Oliver at Continental Motors took it out of storage and suggested to me that these cars were far, far higher in front ride height than they were designed for, to meet Federal minimum bumper height laws. The best thing I did was have it lowered back to its original European ride height which is about 4" lower. I then added Koni gas shocks, and it drove beautifully. The ZF steering box and torsion bar suspension is fabulous for twisty roads, and the faster you go on the freeway the more downforce there is on the front end, the way it was supposed to be. Without lowering these cars float like hell at speed and hobby horse under braking. The GTV6s were so underpowered very few of them sold. They cost more than a 911 SC when new, and wouldn't get out of their own way. Similar to the Acura NSX, they were just helpless. Again, Richard Oliver suggested porting the heads and installing S cams from Alfa. 1.5K later and a shoe box of aluminum from the exhaust ports the car was totally different. All of a sudden it pulled hard from 3300 to red line and with the Autostrada final drive ration would pull 95 easily in third gear, a real crowd pleaser here in Freewaylandia. It runs at 80-90 around 3300, and is very quiet. Alfa designed these as fast comfortable cars for road trips, the Autostrada and the Autobahn, where running at 110 is normal. This car was geared for that at 3:90 but lacked the power to run at speed easily. It does that now, and then some. It does not have the torque of a 3.0, but I did make several runs at getting one. The key word here is comfortable. Alfa managed to find front seats that were not only horrendous, but dangerously slippery. I actually almost fell out of it one day leaning on the drivers door in a turn. Those seats went into a dumpster behind Apple HQ, and I installed two fantastic seats from a Mitsubishi Starion, with full clam shells, thigh supports, and adjustable head rests. Now the car is superbly comfortable on the five hour run from LA to SF on the Gestapo infested 5. Here is condition: Daily driver condition, small dings and scratches. Painted 10 years ago, with Mercedes Silver paint. Two small rust bubble areas, normal even in California. Never been hit or pranged, no undercarriage rust. Driveline has been carefully maintained, good guibos, good clutch, good transmission, rear end. Brakes 60%, fairly recent water pump and timing belt, valves checked, 85% Bridgestone tires, needs drivers' side mirror, headlight switch. This car will humiliate any stock GTV6, and out handle any of them that have not been set up this way. It is currently registered in Arizona, the land of the wrinkled Nazi, but it will smog in CA. Runs and drives great. Needs minor body work, a nice paint job, and someone who wants to drive something unique, reliable, fast, and fun. It still looks nice, the wheels are all original and un molested and it gets the tourists back on the sidewalk. Save 4K and a lot of time getting a stock one right. Buy this one.

The car is filled with rare goodies that took years to source out. If you are looking for a well-equipped FC3S Turbo II then this is the way to go. A lot of people buy non-turbo FC’s and install after market turbos to attain more power. The problem is they are missing a lot of the turbo specific parts. On a real Turbo II those extra parts are included saving the hassle & expense of obtaining them. Off the top of my head here are the things that separate a non-turbo vs. a Turbo II. 4 piston front calipers only on 10th A/E Models. Lower compression rotors iron housings. Larger Injectors. The Turbo II transmission is the strongest out of the RX-7's including FB and FD. Thicker/beefier drive shaft which is made to easily handle over 400 HP. Limited Slip Differential where non turbo’s are open differential. Thicker/beefier rear axles Non Turbo FC rear axles are known to snap if they are not replaced. Turbo II aluminum hood with scoop. Turbo II functional rear wing. Turbo II mirrors. This car was built for a specific purpose. Although it's appearance alone gets a lot of attention it is not a show car. The seats are shot & have seat covers. The ABS has been purposely disconnected & the warning light on the meter panel eliminated. The power operated moon roof does not open. The included moon roof interior panel has been removed to provide helmet clearance. The antenna has been broken off. Installation of a custom wiring harness & Haltec EMS required removal of the entire dash rendering some of the dash panel gauges & switches no longer functioning. A wiring over site to be sure. However having no effect on the operation of the vehicle these minor issues have remained as yet to be addressed. All 10th Anniversary Edition Models had distinctive badges wheels white exterior/black leather interior fully equipped w/all options...
