A Modern Classic! This 1999 SC400 is a pristine example of a very unique Lexus model. This car was owned by a doctor in Sarasota, Florida until I purchased it in February, 2015 with 72,750 miles. The Service History (that is included) shows that the car was purchased and serviced at the same Lexus dealership, Wilde Lexus, since the original purchase date. It is the most comprehensive set of records I have ever seen on a car! And the entire car (interior & exterior) shows that it was garage stored and that it was detailed on a regular basis. NOTE: it will be sold at this price with the OEM wheels (5 spoke) and Michelin 16' tires with approximately 60% tread remaining. If sold with the tires and wheels as shown in images it will be + $1,000 Specs on this option: •New tires: Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 -- 245/40 R18 •Lexus Wheels: G-Spider Wheels -- 18 x 8 with 45mm offset -- Graphite Polished finish. A Variable valve timing engine, VVTI, and the 5 Speed automatic transmission, vs. the prior 4 speed. •The VVTI engine delivers more horsepower and torque, with the same size 4 liter engine, yet with better fuel economy than the 92-97 models. •The five-speed automatic improves acceleration and reduces noise and wear, as the rpms are far lower, about 20-25% at highway speed. •Gas mileage is better than the SC300 6 cylinder, 3 liter version. I averaged 22 to 24 mpg on return trip from Sarasota Florida, to Houston, TX. Driving at 75 to 80 mph all the way. •Rare low-mileage SC400 -- researching the internet, this SC400 is the lowest mileage 1998-2000 SC400 for sale in the U.S. •It is priced based on the rarity, condition, history, desirability, low mileage, equipment, service records - not based on blue book or KBB. •This car is well equipped including optional Traction Control, Premium Sound system with CD changer, rear spoiler, Lexus Custom 18" wheels and Michelin Pilot tires.
