I would like to sell or trade my 2003 Land Rover to someone in need of a 4wd vehicle this coming winter. She has a clean title and new tires (including new 5th wheel). I just had a full diagnostic done and there are NO repairs needed. Has new breaks and power steering pump. Seats 7 and is a blast to drive.

Located in usually sunny Southern California. My guess the 4WD on this beast has rarely if ever been used on this vehicle. Maybe it is time for this car to relocate back to the east coast or the mid-west. The car is not perfect and needs some work, yet it is used regularly as almost a daily driver for me. The transfer case is missing from the transmission. As you can imagine it does not have a clean title. The winning bidder will have to have the vehicle towed as it does not drive. The engine is still good and the cost is worth it for that alone. Other than the obvious parts missing, there are plenty of parts still on the vehicle. Please ask if a specific part is on the car. Super Nice Discovery in Bonatti Grey! This is a southern owned land rover with 112,000 miles on it so there is no rust! This is a 1 owner vehicle well serviced by land rover dealer. Clean, nicely set-up 2004 Land Rover Discovery II. Originally sold new at Land Rover of Seattle, it relocated to California in late 2006, where it has lived all of its life until today. It scores a 48 in AUTOCHECK out of a 21-53 rating range. The 2004 model is the last year of the Discovery Series II ( which replaced the aging and more primitive Discovery Series I which itself came out in 1993 in Europe and debuted in the US in 1994, to its final run in early 1999 when eventually replaced by the DII in the latter part of 1999). The most desirable Discovery to have, with all the revisions and updates unique to only the 03' and 04' models, the 2004 being the only one that came factory-equipped with the desirable CDL ( Central Differential-Lock) system. Chassis, all body panels, undercarriage, ALL inner/ outer sills, seams and welds are 100% RUST FREE. You cannot find that anywhere in the Midwest and definitely not in the East coast! Solid Discovery Series II, nicely set up with a RoversNorth 2.5" lift kit, with TERRAFIRMA struts, springs and steering damper. It also has a nice factory Land Rover snorkel from Atlantic British. This SE has the beefier factory roofbars ( unique to the 2004 models only), as well as the factory Tow package ( although nothing has been towed with it). Nice set of chunky B.F Goodrich All-terrain tires ( with approximately 90% tread on them) mounted on a nice, clean set of 16" factory alloy wheels ( the preferred wheels for off-road as they allow for larger tire displacement). Note: I do have another 16" LR alloy wheel for the spare to match the set mounted on the car ( I will more than likely have a good spare tire ( 90% tread) installed by the time it sells, so that all the wheels are matyching 16" alloys). It has also had the front driveshaft updated to a heavier-duty, greasable unit. Stock 4.6L engine runs well. No knocks, slipped liner nightmares or valvetrain ticking noises. I KNOW Land Rovers, and their issues. This SE is a solid driver. No overheating issues and it runs smooth, as it should with a healthy engine. 150K original miles, average for any Land Rover, better than average for a car of that vintage. * There are NO SERVICE LIGHTS ON at all. None. Not turned off, not reset, not disconnected and NO stories of " oh, it's been there for years". Beware of "CHECK ENGINE" lights on as they are usually indicative of some form of mechanical neglect ( and an immediate automatic FAIL for emissions in California!). BEWARE of any "low-miles" Discoveries; chances are, they sat somewhere due to hidden or unresolved mechanical issues. These vehicles were made to be used, and most have been driven as any Land Rover would be expected to. Automatic transmission shifts well into all gears. Differential lock feature works well. Low and High differentials engage like they are supposed to. Four-wheel Power disc brakes, Power steering ( no leaks), Power windows and Power seats (they both work). NO troublesome SLS or ACE systems to contend with. The A/C system works well and blows nice and cold. Dual sunroofs ( no leaks). Dual Power heated-seats. All four windows and both Power mirrors work. This is a nice example of an overlander DII that looks good despite its vintage. The coachwork is in very good condition, with no dents or damage. Some random scratches from use on the front bumper cover as it would be expected from age. Nice hood and roofline with NO fading of the clearcoat from sun or exposure, a common ailment on all Discoveries. It is solid throughout. Its original, beautiful Zambezi Green factory finish still glows nicely and it is in very good condition considering its age. Professionally refinished headliner ( a common ailment on all Land Rovers and one you will not have to contend with). All doors, panels, hood and trunk line up perfect. The original black leather upholstery is in average condition and has held up well. No tears, rips or seam splits. Expertly redone NEW headliner looks GREAT. Clean interior, door panels, factory carpeting and trunk area. Heavy-duty knubbed Land-Rover rubber mats front and rear, and a black WEATHERTECH rear cargo liner. NON SMOKER vehicle always. This DII has a clear California title and it is currently registered through Dec 2015, as well as SMOG CERTIFIED. FREE AUTOCHECK report available on request. It has a strong 4.6L engine, average miles, very solid, RUST FREE bodywork and clean original interior. It will make a nice trail Discovery II, 2004 being the best DII year to buy, with all the various electronic updates, mechanical and facelift revisions. Overall, a very solid, unrestored Land Rover DII. Hi there!! Today I'm offering this amazing Land Rover Discovery 2, it's been modified to be an expedition type or heavy off road machine. This truck its been lift it with Rovertym 3" heavy duty springs, 12" of travel in the front with foxs 2.0 shocks, and 10" of travel in the rear... abs extended brake lines and abs cables as well, adjustable pan hard rod from Rovertym and also the rear watt link age to add more articulation .... Running 35/12.5/r16 Pitbull rockers and ARB Tween lockers with a cdl shifter install to select 4x4 or just awd.... Bumpers are from Tactical rovers front and rear, Mile marker winch 12lbs force, the truck its been equip with a mantel snorkel original land rover, and also the roof rack. Heavy duty front and read drive shafts, hellas 4000 install in the front bumper and LEDs install on the roof rack.. Also led inside the cabin that light up when open the doors or can be used as reading lamp..... This truck still got a lot more up grades to list. a/c electric fan it's been rebuild, abs valve by pass its been done 4 years ago, The original type of t/stat that destroy this engines its been modified with a masseur inline thermostatat housing, using a 180F chevy t-stat. the truck runs all day long with the a/c on of off at 180F to 185F the most.... This truck has no issues with any warning lights at all, no check engine light or abs or asr lights and its been like this for years.... The truck runs solid. My last long trip was from ft lauderdale to washington dc to n.c to tennesee and g.a!!! It was great!!! I own this truck since 2007, the truck was original back then, i mean no modifications at all..... If you like what u see let me know!!!
