Nice example of the final year of the beautiful X308 style. Brand new (<50 miles) Michelin Pilot Sports ($1200 value). I became the second owner of her in 2008. Beautiful quartz on tan is a desirable combination. This car continues to turn heads in a time when all other cars are starting to look the same. Low, long, sleek, and immediately recognizable. The XJR is the supercharged version of this classic. 0 to 60mph in 5 seconds. I can sincerely claim that she has never given me a single problem. Any scheduled maintenance performed at the local Jaguar dealer. Clean Carfax and title. No smoking, no kids, no pets. I kept her in a climate controlled garage, rarely drove her in rain, and never drove her in snow/ice/salt. Ill include two custom car covers (light weight and heavier weight breathable fabric) that I used when traveling where a garage wasnt available. The leather is in perfect condition -- needs no additional conditioning or repair. Same for the burled walnut dash and door trim. Looks like new. Everything functions correctly. The only flaws: small (half inch) dimple over the left rear fender flare and a faint blemish (1 inch diameter probably from bird dropping or sap) in the roof paint. Both flaws were there when I purchased her in 2008. The roof blemish is difficult to see unless inspecting closely in certain angles and lighting; I could not capture it in a photo. Small (half inch) stone chip in windshield. Not worth replacing windshield for it. In other words, they absolutely did not effect my enjoyment of this car, and Im fairly critical of such things. Lastly, she does have a front through-bumper tag frame, which I removed for the photos. Virginia requires front tags. Why selling? I live in a high-rise and have to pay rent on the additional space in which I keep her. Its time to move on. This will be the first car Ive sold that I can truly say that I will miss.
