Car is pretty solid for the year. Body is straight with very minimal "Honda" rust starting. It's been in the family and a reliable daily driver for the past ten years. Miles will go up slightly since it is still being driven almost daily. PA inspected until March. There are a few aftermarket parts and others have been replaced recently. I'll list everything below. The is a turn-key car so no work is needed to pick up and go or swap in a bigger engine like most people do with these. I'm listing this for my brother but I used to own the car as well and still love it. Pros -Megan racing header -Magnaflow catalytic converter -Apexi Noir Complete cat back exhaust -All suspension was replaced in 2010 with stock parts -Front and rear lip kit -Brand new fuel lines and clutch recently installed -All brakes are good -Radiator, spark plugs, timing belt and tensioner installed in last 20k miles -Alloy Honda 15" rims from a 2003 Civic Si w/ decent matching Kumho tires, 50% tread -Black housing headlights and tail lights Cons -Drivers side door handle is broken (including parts needed to fix) -Occasional issues with the wiper selector (including parts to fix) -Rear wiper needs replaced -Cabin hood release handle is broken but it can still be used to pop the hood (can include parts needed to fix if wanted) -Valve cover leaks a little (typical) -AC belt is not installed but I think it works (haven't cared to use it in the past few years) Thanks for looking and please ask any questions. For sale is a very nice and all original untampered 2000 Civic CX as it came off the assembly line. I have been the 1 and only owner since year 2000. It has been very well taken care of. Always on time with oil changes and routine matainence. Timing belt and waterpump and clutch were replaced at 80k miles. New Michelin tires on the factory 13" wheels and have only 10k miles. There are no mechanical issues. Transmission and engine work very smoothly. No smoke or wierd noises from this car. Smooth on highway. Cold A/C and it works very well. Also heater works. Windows and locks are manual but work perfectly. Interior is clean seats have no rips or tears. Carpet is pretty clean also no damage. Headliner has some loose areas and rips but only in the very back. Original CD player 6 disc changer will need to enter code from honda to get it working. Overall car is in great condition for its year. Orginal paint job some areas such as roof are dull from Florida Sun. No rust at all!! Shocks are good no bouncy ride here. Brakes work very well also. This is a CX model which is the lightest of the hatchback family that didn't come with power steering don't worry it's easy to drive. Spare tire and tools are there in trunk also. I have built this vehicle from scratch and enjoy every second I have ever driven it! It will make the ultimate weekend car due to the fact that I did want to keep street drivability in mind and not build an all out track vehicle. Both VTEC and the turbo open up at approximately 5,000 RPMs and scream all they way to the 8500 RPM Redline. I have 10+ years experience in building Hondas so this is not your run of the mill typical 16 second rice burner. With the help of the Mickey Thompson Drag radials all power is effectively transferred to the ground in all gears and the power is beyond impressive. This car has had no problems taking down C6 Corvettes, Camaros and even Porsches. After the many detailed images below I have posted several videos of the car which include low RPM gear to gear driving, a Wide open throttle pull from 1st to 3rd gear, proof of all gauges properly functioning and even a video of the power windows going up and down with out any issues. Please look over the detailed images and feel free to look over the videos as well. I welcome you to bring your own ASE Certified technician to check out the vehicle if you would like. I have absolutely nothing to hide because the car has been done properly! :) Imperfections As with any late 90s car the vehicle does have some imperfections, mainly all are cosmetic. The paint has some peeling in areas such as the passenger side side skirt and the driver side door and the wing has some fading from sun exposure. The RSX steering wheel has seen better days but that can easily be fixed by picking up another one on eBay for anywhere between $65 - $85. Aside from those imperfections thats really all I can think of after giving the car a full walk around. I will be more than happy to provide you with any additional pictures upon request. Its my daily driver it has a 1.6 dohc vtec b16a engine with a b16 hydro transmission that I swapped in and was a automatic I converted it to stick. It has the rear windows tinted, carbon fiber seibon hood that's painted to match, full exhaust (Dc sports header with a obx cat and yonaka motorsports cat back), new water pump and timing belt were installed when the engine was, RSX type s steering wheel only single stage bag is wired in and no horn, fidanza flywheel with a exedy clutch, b&m short shifter with skunk2 style shift knob, wheels are OEM ep3 si wheels, thermal intake manifold gasket, aem power pullies(PS and alternator), hid high and low beam, nrg strut tower bar, rear skunk 2 lcas recently rebuilt, skunk 2 rear tie bar, lowered on ground controls with low miles energy shift linkage bushings, d16y8 throttle body to get rid of the thermal wax bs, msd cap, rotor and wires with brand new ngk laser platinum plugs, all new tie rods on the front, blox adjustable control arms with adjustable ball joints to move the camber, lowered on ground control adjustable suspension, viper alarm with remote start, cai intake has a real 5 speed engine harness so its not hacked up but has a rywire jumper harness on the dizzy(obd1 dohc dizzy), 2000 civic si ecu, the obx cat only has 1 o2 in because the company messed my order up and i didn't realize till after I installed the cat. Like most Hondas this one has the third gear grind mainly at higher rev shifts I believe the synchro is bad, 1st grinds unless you completely stop. Has Power everything, ac blows ice cold, abs light was on when i bought it. Will come with disc brake conversion which includes the arm, hubs, brand new Honda parking brake cables , proportioning valve and brembo performance rotors.
