Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a very unique 2003 Suzuki GSX-R 1000. A discussion about modern sport bikes cannot be had without mention of the GSX-R. Of the \"big four\'s\" 1,000cc offerings, the \"Gixxer\" may be the most well known. This particular GSX-R has come a long way from how it would have looked coming from the factory. Most noticeably, all of the body fairings have been custom painted in a tasteful blue color. To accent the custom blue paint, tons of chrome and polished parts have been added. The frame has been polished, as well as a custom polished swing arm has been added. It is an extended swing arm which keeps the bike a bit more stable under hard acceleration. The wheels are custom chrome with new tires within the past 200 miles. The pegs, controls, grips, and mirrors are all custom chrome pieces. The power plant is the 1,000cc inline 4 cylinder which has been upgraded with a Stage 3 power commander and Brock\'s Performance exhaust. The exhaust sounds great at low RPMs and screams at the red line. The bike got a new clutch in April 2015 as well as recent brakes and new battery. This is a bike you can hop on and ride right away while there\'s still come riding season left. With online 22,518 miles, it has plenty of life left.
