1995 Geo Metro LSI 3dr Hatchback 5-speed 50+ MPG great condition. Make me an offer! A 3 door US model Geo Metro LSI that is beautiful, has a 5 speed transmission There is no rust. The suspension arms are all perfect and factory. The windows roll up and down exactly as they should. I just put new wiper blades all the way around. The paint is factory sprayed and in good condition. There has never been a crash in this car's history no body repairs either. There are a couple of clear-coat flaws on the hood but nothing unsightly. There is no other car that has ever been built in the modern age that is as simple and as economical as a Geo/Chevrolet Metro. This particular car has seen 55 MPG on highway trips. Simple, easy, cheap, economical, and very reliable too. Anybody could fix it anywhere, but they rarely break. In the July 2009 issue of Car and Driver, they included a base model 1998 Chevrolet Metro 3-door hatchback among vehicles tested for fuel efficiency alongside two hybrid models: the redesigned Honda Insight and Toyota Prius models. Car and Driver jokingly ridiculed the Metro's age and equipment, docking seven points from its overall score for its lack of amenities and mentioning that it was originally sold brand-new without hubcaps. Regardless, the Metro tied the Prius for best overall fuel economy at 42 mpg-US (5.6 l/100 km). I mean that is really saying something right? This little Metro has a stereo and factory rear window defrost and rear wiper. I wouldn't call it loaded, but for a car like this.. That's not the point. The point is intelligent cost effective transportation that you never need to worry about. The Metro is clean and super tight and runs fantastically. These are getting harder to come by as time goes on. This will be a great one to hold on to. I bought this car from a guy in Portland and drove it back to St. Simons about 3 weeks ago. He just did brakes all around, It has a new muffler and timing belt. He also just did rear wheel bearings too. This Metro is totally ready to go! I'm selling it for exactly what I paid because I decided to keep my VW for the time being. It is just about the cutest car I've ever seen! It drove perfectly all the way across the country. This would be a wonderful first car for a high school student that just needs to buzz back and forth to school and save $ on gas. This is an AS-IS sale. I have done my best to describe it exactly as I see it but it has no warranties or guarantees.

1998 Chevrolet Metro LSi Coupe For Sale Odometer: 85,000 Original miles This Chevy Metro (formally called Geo Metro up until this year) can best be described in one word: practical. This car is absolutely nothing special and I won’t try to make it more than what it is; a low mile, clean running, two door automatic vehicle. Nothing fancy, nothing sexy. That being said, it will get you from point A to point B, comfortably and safely, every time. With a 1.3L 4-Cylinder engine, it is very fuel efficient. Drives and shifts very smooth. Manual steering, windows, and locks. I have had the entire A/C system replaced as of 10/2015 with receipts to prove work done. Also has brand new steering rack as of 10/2015. This Metro is simple, has low miles, is comfortable, but most importantly, it is practical. Where else are you going to get all that for $2500?
